  1. Past hour
  2. They built to out score teams. The game was close before his injury.
  3. Refs hosing Auburn. They know Georgia is supposed to win
  4. Worst officiated game I've seen all season: UGA vs Auburn.
  5. Yep after trailing 16-3 at half Lamar scores 30 points in the second half...20 of them in the 4th quarter and 13 in the last 3 seconds. Final 33-23. It was a rather sloppy game. I had a feeling we were going to lose but somehow pulled it out at the end.
  6. Lamar wins against East Texas A&M.
  7. OU hasn’t scored a touchdown on Texas in 735 days
  8. Troup would also be a bad matchup for Woodville. I just didn't mention them because I already knew they would be on the other side of the bracket with yall. I thought we would meet GS second round but with their loss to EW it looks like it'll be EW now. I think we might be OK against DF or Hooks if we meet them in the 3rd. Yalls side is tuff but yall can handle it 🤣
  9. Today
  10. Troup, Daingerfield, if neither of us gets beat by them we should meet again. Yalls offense is going to be hard for anyone else to stop.
  11. Not yet but he needs too-
  12. Worst display of football? I doubt it. Worst officiating? Quite possibly! Huffman had about 10 penalties called on them which seemed to kill every drive l. The extra point play you referenced was so bad. We were laughing up in the stands saying these refs can't wait to get the hell out of here.
  13. Strange to say but the way the bracket is set up your actually right. It "could" happen although it's not guaranteed. The only other team in the region I would consider to be a bad matchup for Woodville is Grand Saline and I think they'll be on the other side of the bracket now due to their recent loss to Edgewood. If Woodville can manage to hold on to the #2 seed they'll get some winnable matchups they'll have a chance to win in likely shootouts the first 3 rounds. If we win those 3 I expect to meet Newton in round 4.
  14. The Spartans bring a 2-1 district record, and a 4-2 record overall into Bulldog Stadium to face La Porte (3-0, 5-1). Porter's lone district loss to this point was the first district game against Angleton by a score of 56-10. Since then, the Spartans have collected wins against Kempner and Pasadena. The Bulldogs come in with district wins against Friendswood, Kingwood Park, and Kempner. This is a key game for both teams as they seek to lock down potential PO spots. Last year, La Porte started out slow at Porter. But, eventually opened it up for a 41-20 win with the Spartans scoring a late TD with less than 2 minutes in the game. Who takes this one?
  15. Splendora, while we're talking about it, is a mystery. The town has a listed population of about 2000 people. That's 2,000. Their coach, multiple times, faced with 4th and long, backed up deep in their own territory, had the team go for it rather than punt. PNG took over at around the 11 yl on one occasion. Their pass defense actually isn't so bad. Their run defense could be better, but considering the size of the line, they hang in there as best they can. The refs there at times don't throw flags or indicate the infraction, they just mark off penalty yards and somehow the teams know what's going on. Oh, and their extra point defense? It's got to be the best in the district.
  16. Auburn is getting absolutely hosed by the refs
  17. Big game in the District. Good chance this will decide a playoff spot. Loser probably not making it.
  18. WOS had two hall of fame coaches that both believed in the 50 defense or to say the least a defense minded team. The new coach got the job and did away with that tradition, ask him why. All I know is for 35 plus years of following the Stangs, the good days are over for now and doubt they will be back with this coachin staff. To many it is the coach, not so much the talent.
  19. This is some wild officiating in the UGA vs Auburn game.
  20. Week 3 District Scores: New Caney Porter 42 Pasadena 7 Friendswood 6 Angleton 41 Kingwood Park 7 Crosby 52 Kempner 12 La Porte 63 District Standings: Angleton (3-0) (6-0) La Porte (3-0) (5-1) Crosby (3-0) (3-3) New Caney Porter (2-1) (4-2) Kingwood Park (1-2) (3-3) Kempner (0-3) (3-3) Friendswood (0-3) (2-4) Pasadena (0-3) (1-5) Weekly Rundown: Thursday night, New Caney Porter dominated the Eagles of Pasadena, and stayed within striking distance of the Top 3, and in possible position for the 4th PO seed. Friday action saw Angleton hand The Mustangs of Friendswood their third consecutive district loss. Friendswood must win out for any hope of a PO appearance. Crosby manhandled the Kingwood Park Panthers as they continue their impressive, undefeated district run. They still have games upcoming against La Porte and Angleton. But, they have a firm grip on the 3 seed with a game against New Caney Porter in Week 10. Meanwhile, La Porte dominated Kempner, with Sean Simon only carrying the ball 9 times for 105 yards and 3 TD's. The Bulldogs had a balanced attack with 4 TD's on the ground (1 by the 2nd Team), 4 TD's through the air, between Saenz and Wells, and 1 defensive TD from Tristan Oakes. It was Oakes 2nd defensive TD in the last 2 games. This Week's Key Game - New Caney Porter @ La Porte. Both teams are eyeing a PO spot, and the Spartans will be looking for the upset to help lock in a possible PO spot. The Bulldogs will be seeking a win to push their undefeated district win streak to 11 games and keep pace with Angleton and Crosby.
  21. He play Defense?
  22. Word is Daytons rb Foster went out the 2nd quarter against LC. and will be back for Huntsville.
  23. Breaks it down pretty good! @Big girl @UT alum @Boyz N Da Hood @DCT
  24. RB or no RB Daytons problem is clearly it’s D. giving up 50+ in back to back games versus teams that struggle to score!
  25. James Franklin walking into work tomorrow:
  26. Both teams could get a rematch in playoffs believe it or not.
