Warren ISD Announces Boys Athletic Director & Head Football Coach: Kenneth Riedinger A lifelong coach and proud Warrior parent, Coach Riedinger brings passion, faith, and a relentless underdog mindset to Warren ISD. As he says, “God made me a coach - and it’s time people fear the spear.” He’s ready to lead our student-athletes with heart, discipline, and results. Coach Riedinger is a 1995 graduate of Silsbee High School, where he competed in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He attended Kilgore Junior College and earned his B.S. from Northwest Missouri State University in Physical Education with a minor in Health, and is Special Education certified. His connection to Warren runs deep. His grandfather graduated from Warren in 1945, his son will soon be a Warren graduate, and his younger children are current Warriors. His wife, Megan, proudly serves WISD as the Educational Diagnostician, is a former Fred Elementary Teacher of the Year, and was last year’s Special Programs Tribe Tribute honoree. Coach Joubert is one of the best, but I think it just goes to show how "down" the district is this year.

Warren has had a revolving door for a reason. I'm sure they have made their decision already and I'm guessing it will be questionable at best. Warren keeps doing the same thing. Either hiring an older experienced guy or a young coach with no head coaching experience. My question would be why would a experienced AD/HC take a job that has had a revolving door with little success? My guess is there is a reason and he would not be there long. Also why would you take a young coach that has been at great places.. He will just use it like a spring board and be gone in a couple of years. What really needs to happen is take a coach that wants to be there and is looking to stay to build stability in the community. Someone looking to evolve all sports at the Pop Warner, little dribblers and little leagues to invest in the feature at Warren. Someone looking to help educate parents and inspire involvement in youth activities. Someone looking to invest in the Jimmy and Joes. That person would be probably someone that has lived near/in the community. knows the dynamics and knows what needs to happen. Needs to be someone looking to stay no matter what. I would look for a OC/DC experience, probably in 40's and has been at some successful places.

How do you feel they will do in the district this year? According to game changer, the district is way down.

The job Joubert does is unreal. To have this group in a seeding game may have been some of his best coaching 🏀

Yeah I saw that. Looks like they have 4 bombs so far on the season between the 3 of them. The Kountze move in helped that freshman group a lot. Those 3 added to an already loaded roster should equal a heck of a playoff run for the Lady Tigers.

Out of all our coverage area 1st round games, I thought this was the one where I was most confident that an upset could happen. I understand that the game was nip and tuck all the way and Chester missed a good shot at the end to tie. Centerville was ranked #17 in state coming into this game.
