  7. Congrats to Babin on his decision. Didn't expect him to pull the trigger this early. Thought for sure he would have stayed in Texas if not LSU. Vandy must have really made an impression on him
  8. Today
  9. Reagan, I hope they do but we always hear "we are going to get you" and a lot of noise is made, committees are formed, hearings are held then it just seems to go away quietly. If you aren't going to follow thru on these threats, don't even go thru the show of having the hearings.

  11. We know who they and they know who they are! It's time to get the ball rolling! Dan doesn't play!
  12. I heard so I asked AI if Dan Bongino is looking at others in the Kirk shooting: "Yes, as FBI Deputy Director, Dan Bongino has stated that the investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk is far from over and is actively probing a potential wider plot involving accomplices and a "network of people" around the suspect, Tyler Robinson. Bongino emphasized on Fox News that investigators are examining possible aiding and abetting, financial support, foreknowledge by associates (including whether anyone dismissed warning signs as a "joke"), and failures to report the plot, adding, "there’s not going to be a stone left unturned." In a separate interview, he reiterated that the FBI is "exhausting every lead" and described the probe as "not even the end of the beginning," specifically highlighting Robinson's friends, associates, and roommate Lance Twiggs as part of this network under scrutiny for their level of involvement or awareness. This includes indicators of warning signs beyond Twiggs himself."
  13. This is from an AI search of what Trump referred to at the UN speech. During this time I knew something was going on. These people were well dressed, had water and other stuff. I knew they just didn't walk thousands of miles by the look of some of them. Some were pushing a baby stroller. There were 24 NGO's involved. I did hear the snake Soros was involved. Is this what the UN was created for? Absolutely not! UN budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying into the United States." (Note: The figure is $372 million, not $374 million as stated in the query; this may be a minor rounding or transcription error.)This amount stems from the UN's publicly available 2024 "Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan" (RMRP) for Latin America and the Caribbean, a humanitarian initiative coordinated by agencies like the UNHCR, IOM, and others to aid approximately 3 million refugees and migrants across 17 countries in the region. The $372 million is specifically earmarked for "Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA)" and "Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MCA)"—distributed via debit cards, envelopes, bank transfers, or mobile payments—to help cover basic needs like food, transportation, shelter, health care, and legal aid for 624,000 people identified as "in-transit" migrants (many of whom are heading northward toward the U.S. border).Key Details on the Funding Total Regional Budget: $1.59 billion overall for the plan, with a growing portion supporting onward movement toward the U.S. Breakdown of Related Allocations (beyond the $372 million cash aid): Rent and Temporary Shelter: $122 million 473,000 people Housing support in countries like Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico. Humanitarian Transportation: $25.8 million 129,000 people Aid for border crossings and travel, including $27.5 million in Colombia alone for 161,000 travelers. Broader Cash Expansion: $184 million 1.2 million people Includes multi-purpose cash for vulnerable groups, such as those facing gender-based violence. These funds are delivered through 24 NGO partners in countries like Colombia (95,000 recipients), Ecuador, Mexico (59,000 recipients), Brazil, and Panama. The plan explicitly supports access to asylum processes, regularization, and socio-economic integration, including for those in "irregular situations" (e.g., undocumented migrants). While the assistance indirectly facilitates migration by covering transit costs, the UN frames it as lifesaving humanitarian aid amid crises like Venezuela's collapse, which has displaced millions. Critics, including Trump and some U.S. lawmakers, argue this effectively subsidizes illegal border crossings using U.S. taxpayer dollars (as the U.S. contributes about 22% of the UN's budget). For instance, Rep. Lance Gooden reintroduced legislation in March 2025 to block U.S. funds from supporting such UN programs.
  14. Glad to see them healing up and hopefully they can help the Astros next season IMO they better find a GM. This one did little during the off season to bring in quality players. They started the season with very few decent pitchers and finished the season that way and they simply couldn’t hit with RISP They simply played bad after the all star break Absolutely no excuses about injuries, they happen to every team and don’t bother me with stats because it is about which teams win more games
  15. Detroit and Houston are competing to see who can lose the most games this week and still make the playoffs.
  16. I hope he does and stays healthy because the backup runs like he is on the JV team
  17. I haven’t picked yet, who is it? 😉
  18. Luis Garcia will have some sort of surgery and miss all of 2026. Also, Hader still isn’t throwing but imaging shows the shoulder is healing. Alvarez is working out in the weight room but not running yet
  19. Actually #10 for Nederland may have a pretty big game this week vs Splendora, and score a few more than once per half.
  20. The new copycat crime.
  21. WE are going to find out soon.
  22. Yesterday
  23. I’m sure Abseck knows, my comment was for DCTF. We know y’all will be ready as will the Eagles. I think for either team to win they will have to control the LOS. BH will have to slow down your RB and Lufkin will have to lock down the secondary to limit the BH passing game. It’s going to be a good one Guaranteed! Morton just makes us more dynamic, with him and Trip running routes you still have to account for Bonnet and Poole it won’t be easy.
