I was trying to think last night who this year's PAM team reminded me of, and it finally dawned on me. Y'all remind me a lot of Crosby with Yarbrough, but with a better D. I said--before the season started I think--if we could put the PAM D with the LP O and LP ST this year, we could be in Arlington. I still think that's the case so far from what I've seen.

Well I have come down with a UTI or kidney infection that has saddled me yesterday and today so no Week 5 games for me and no Baton Rouge. Will just watch and listen tonight on my computer if I stay up that long. Last night was kind of rough but made it to the end of Joaquin game. This is no fun.

It's good to see all of that bulldog hate and cruelty gone now. It's also good news about the QB, for his baseball career especially, but I'm a little surprised that he'd be put immediately back onto the football field. This is a game Vidor would typically find a way to lose under the existing coaching staff. They have been better this year. Hopefully Vidor finds a way to get a win on the road and start district with a win.

It’s great news! Dogs will be back to full strength heading into district play. Very good timely bye week this week for much needed rest and healing up… Homecoming game next week and Dogs are back playing at home finally… for only the 2nd game at home and it will be October next week.

Lufkin Freshmen A team knocked off previously undefeated Beaumont United 17-0. Ill say this. Beaumont United has a very good freshmen group. Outside of Longview they're the best team we played. For reference we beat PAM 48-0 and Sterling 52-8. BU is going to be really salty down the road. Phenomenal QB.

Double play to end it. Astros win 7-5 and remain tied for division lead.

Spence hits his 1st career HR. He now has 3 in the game. His swing reminds me of Terry Puhl.
