  2. Sounded like she needed to clear her throat.
  3. Not use to seeing it jump every other day. May consider buying a motorcycle next.
  4. I’ve always remembered that Tarkington didn’t have horrible athletes. Their facilities were among the worst and the ones that were worse have since upgraded. Seemed like a nice school to go to. The area seems like a decent place to raise a family. Not sure why they won’t take the necessary steps to improve. The only candidate I know that has applied is definitely thinking of it as a place long term but I’m sure a lot of coaches that take that job came with the same expectations.
  5. What we know is there were at least 4 Justices that believed the Government had a solid case. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have agreed to hear the case at all. The arguments are very interesting. Sauer is kind of hard to listen to with a raspy type voice & very fast speech. 😂
  6. Refiners sell at wholesale prices. What you see at the pump is what individual gas stations set it at.
  7. Yeah, that’s why I think interest balancing may come into play. Interest balancing when I heard it is like safety versus the Second Amendment. One side argues that it is an individual right to possess defense firearms. The other side says that has to be weighed against the safety of the public because of statistics. So if the homicide rate is higher in Chicago, the city can ban the possession of firearms in the interest of safety over individual rights. So government interest is balanced against individual rights. No matter what Elk and Wong Son Ark say, is it more of an interest for consistency as opposed to the original intent. In the oral arguments going on right now it was asked, “what about the humanitarian crisis?”. Was humanitarian issues of people from other countries intent of the Fourteenth Amendment or was the intent to make sure that African slaves were not denied citizenship after the Dred Scott decision? I don’t thing they writing and debate on the Fourteenth Amendment at that time was about people in other countries who may have bad living conditions. I such an issue would be ludicrous but that was the question just asked. What about the humanitarian crisis….. So no matter what, I think and have thought that the Supreme Court will finally put the issue to rest and simply say if you can make it to US soil at birth, you are a citizen, which in effect changes nothing from the last 150 years. But….. what will they say, if anything, about territories overseas?
  8. Indication that if and when we pull out the markets may be kind to all. Trump said on his social media that we make a lot of money as gas prices go up. Anyone else agree?
  9. Today
  10. What gets me is during the Bush/Obama high gas prices, crude oil was around $140 per barrel and gas prices were almost $4.00 in our area. Now, inching closer to $4.00 for gas, crude oil is around $100 per barrel. I thought there were percentages involved. Is it inflation?
  11. If the do away with it, the Roe versus Wade protest will be nothing compared to what will happen....lol They will loose their minds
  12. It was so bad that the police had to come onto the field. Hillin showed everybody why Buna did not hire him.
  13. That was the peak...... You can double check me
  14. You are correct. We are paying about the same as Biden highest in this area. Either way it sucks.
  15. I live in a red state and we have never seen diesel at $5.65 a gallon at anytime. [Hidden Content] This is just news coming out of the war.
  16. I realize that’s a national average. When factoring in California, NY, and other blue states, the price goes way up. Some people are only concerned with their cost.
  17. I like the hire, at least should be a fun team to watch. he likes to play fast and press.
  18. could be a great hire.
  19. We’re pretty much at June 2022 prices. Regardless who was president it still sucks! In June 2022, diesel fuel prices in Southeast Texas and across the state soared to record highs, averaging well over $5 per gallon. In the Beaumont-Port Arthur area, diesel prices reached nearly $5.30 per gallon by mid-June 2022, with similar high averages reported in neighboring regions, driven by extreme market demand and tight supplies.
  20. If you look at Supreme Court precedent , there is a good case for not having birthright citizenship. I just don’t see it happening. I think interest balancing (which this court doesn’t really subscribe to) may come into play.
  21. I might make it over there. My older brother did 26 years in the Navy and lives in Richmond. I am sure that he will take part. I wish the Battleship Texas was back open to the public but it still has a few months before the final berth is ready in Galveston.
  22. I was kinda right, just forgot to type the no hitter part…lol
