I agree… the only thing that is a advantage for Jasper is Coach Thompson knows how to stop that offense…but I don’t think he has the horses in the stable to implement his plan
-
I think Lumberton has been hit with the injury bug, I was at the Vidor game and it looked like they had alot of kids on the sideline in shorts and jerseys. Then I think 2 or 3 more got injured during the game

FINAL — Carthage 23 at West Orange-Stark 7 — Discussion
keepitcas replied to SETXsports's topic in High School Football
I am not even from Carthage or East Texas even just observer of high school football. Was at the game, actually with a friend who officiated for years in another state, and then watched the game after as well to see if I actually saw what I thought I saw. Carthage being CALLED for more personal fouls and legitimately committing more are two very different things. WO-S committed A TON and got away with 99.9% of them. WO-S was allowed (and not just in this game) to deliver countless illegal late hits, face masks, taunting, holding, interference (on defense on literally every pass play) etc. Many times you can actually see the officials in the middle of the mess as the WO-S players are taunting, shoving Carthage players trying to start a fight and refs do nothing but as soon as a Carthage player even responds with a single word or look, not even anything physical, they throw a flag on Carthage. Those officials had blinders on to everything WO-S did. And those are facts. Did not affect that outcome but that is not the point, someone at some point is going to get seriously hurt. One of the MANY face masks WO-S committed was pretty violent, the Carthage player's head got almost completely spun around and it was right in front of the official. No flag. The player did have to be assessed for a concussion on the sidelines. And these blatant things happened many times all game. My friend was losing his mind and was totally appalled. -

Well Cleveland did what they at least had to do and that’s win 1 @ the Rays. Cleveland could possibly win it at home. Would like for the Rays to win it.

Not what you said, but a good comeback. Can’t believe you are siding with this POS. -

Can Trump name the perps in the Epstein files? The point was that Mitch missed 92 days of sick leave and still was able to make his vote count. This was a big nothing burger. The man was being treated for the flu.

Is that a but, but? Talarico can name his favorite drag queen instantly. -
Dayton played a grueling pre district schedule against some decent 6a teams and we were somewhat competitive. Our offense can be electric at times thanks to our dynamic QB who I think is the best QB in the District. On the other hand our defense is suspect so your RB's need to bring plenty of oxygen. We have a good smart Coach and Iam sure we will be more competitive than some think. One thing for sure there's going to be a lot of purple flying around Friday night! ( HS stuff= Jayhawk ,I got a new phone and it was easier at the time to get a new screen name than to retrieve my forgotten password )

Does New Waverly have a chance to upset Newton?
bd04 replied to bd04's topic in High School Football
Is there a reason why Newton has never worked on having on a kicker? I remember a few years ago they had a kid who kicked some but It seems like every year they run into a situation where they need extra points and they’re forced to fall back on going for two and it bites them. -

This one should be good! A lot of points will be scored here. I’ll take EC but don’t think they’ll run away with it. -
Maybe. He could have been campaigning, strumming up vote.

Agree with Shepherd not losing here, especially with the gauntlet coming up.
