I’m a conservative. I don’t follow Dem primary politics very closely-and there’s practically none of them in our area. But make no mistake… all sides lie upon the other party, and even upon their fellow party members. My example just used a Republican example, made more egregious by the fact it happened in a church and was apparently not a dealbreaker for the pastor of said church.

The non-TDS crowd knows why this is happening and that it will be temporary. And once it’s all said and done I predict that gas prices will drop dramatically!

What bugs me are the ones who know what they’re spreading is false, but keep doing it because they know that it will affect the outcome. I think that’s why the voters punished Rhonda Ward in her race for SB3 vs Ashby. I went to a forum at a church in Hardin County and Ward got up and plainly stated “Ashby voted for x,y, and z.” Ashby then stood up and said “I did NOT vote for x,y, and z.” I sat up a little straighter because it’s obvious somebody just stood up and told a big fat fib right there in the house of the Lord. The minister got up and said “well, one thing’s for sure… there will be a record of it.” Ward got up and re-stated “well, it’s a type of motion that they don’t actually vote upon, but certain people voiced their opposition… Ashby didn’t voice his opposition, so we all know that “not voting no is the same thing as voting yes.” Ah… there we go. No one actually voted, but he didn’t voice his opposition, therefore “he voted for it.” Got it. And her supporters were still repeating the lie right up until the bitter end, knowing that it was untrue. Best part of the story? The preacher publicly endorsed Ward before the election. She walked into his church, stood in front of his pulpit, and lied. But he still endorsed her. That’s MAGA today. Danny O’Pry from Candlestick Baptist, if you were wondering.

I know this is not coverage area news but I thought this was worth posting here on the site. Shallowwater Head Coach Jason Lusk was in a head on collision yesterday with his family after attending the Shallowwater girls state championship game in San Antonio. He is having surgery this morning. He and his wife and son suffered injuries but they are not life threatening. #7 Shallowwater is playing their regional final game today at 2pm vs. #9 Brownfield. The game was scheduled for today instead of last night so that all could attend the girls game yesterday. Assistant coach will take the helm for today's game. This comes after a Shallowwater middle school student took his own life yesterday. Prayers for the community and for Coach Lusk family.

You brought up defense. What about blocked shots (4), altered shots (a ton), etc? I would say in a 2 point game (vs Marcus), keeping the other team from being able to effectively score in the paint probably had a big impact on the win. And by probably, I mean definitively. But hey, your guys two points and 4 boards in that same game was probably a bigger difference maker. In the state championship game, when he had 8 & 10 (with 3 blocks), your guy had 3 pts and 5 bds while leading the team in turnovers (4). We can keep arguing but we can agree to disagree. Obviously Cam got better over the next two years. And despite your friends who were parents of his teammates, if you don’t think they don’t win it all that year without him, I’m not the only one who would disagree with you. Ronnie Courtney would too.

I know you’ve never complained about the Democrats and Biden. Lol

A lot of conspiracy theories out there. I will say, I wish people would vet their sources better. A lot of misinformation and confusion sowed by outside players, or those just looking for sensationalism for hits.

We will have to disagree. In the state semifinals against Marcus, Cam had 8 points and 5 rebounds. In the state champion game he had 8 points again. As I mentioned his game was not there yet. Being 6’11” helped but he was not an all district, region or state caliber player that sophomore season. He made major strides that summer. I have close friends who are parents of his teammates and plus I know actual teammates who played with him at Bush.

Guess we'll just have to wait to see what Bibi tells President pedo to do next!!
