Well this issue goes all the way back to covid, with several factors at play. 1, Declining enrollment and no new people moving in the district because all new houses being built are air bnbs 2, This was a projected problem with the hopes that move ins would come the the district, but at this point until "the ike group" gets thru you still have those low numbers because those kids never came back. (only 4 graduating seniors this year. 3. The strongest athletic group is in 6th grade so numbers will rise again, and a new school building with a gym ect will help. Also in the next year or two new football stadium and softball/baseball fields will attract kids to come play, hopefully. Hope this helps y'all, Also the jump to t-cal will be done in two year cycles and reevaluated.

Wasn’t it Democrats that wanted to keep the current Louisiana district maps and the United States Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional? NEWSFLASH - The threat to Democracy democratic talking point is old and worn out….and proven wrong….in 2016 we were told if Trump was elected we would lose our Democracy…. almost halfway through his second term, our democracy is doing just fine….. even with the Democrats trying all these unconstitutional things.

I gotcha, Stone is a hell of a coach and deserves to decide what he wants to do. He was my JV coach and we learned a lot from him.Not only about baseball but how to be an honorable man. I loved playing for him.

My thoughts go like this. Americans voted in 2024 and we got the president and I’m assuming congressmen that we wanted. “We” not including me, but that’s okay-it’s democracy. Then, we rush out and do an unprecedented off year redistricting that favors the party who just got elected. If the election were held today, the Republicans claim that they’d win 20-30 more Congressional districts than they did less than two years ago. Without a single voter changing their vote. You quite simply can’t have democracy and do the things that the republicans are doing today. If your vote doesn’t count, people will feel like they need to, as Corrosion of Conformity sang back in the 90s, “Vote with a Bullet.” These are very, very dangerous games that trump and his butt-sniffers are playing. Deligitimizing the election process with lies about election fraud that was never proven, then playing games with redistricting to subvert the will of the voters. This is how governments get overthrown, and I’ve got a bad feeling that MAGA won’t like the way things look when the smoke all clears, if it ever comes down to that. And politics are a pendulum. It swings one way, then back the other. The other side will make their way back into power, and they WILL remember the way that republicans have acted.

Luckily, I never said no one should be arrested. I just made the astute claim that no one will be arrested. But I will walk that back just a little bit. IF someone is arrested, it will be someone of LITTLE or no consequence. Further, even though being arrested, that person would probably do very little if any time.
