Who Funds the Groups Harassing ICE Agents in Minnesota? The Left's Premier Foundations and Dark Money Networks Have Given Millions, Records Show. From the article: "At the center of the unrest is the Sunrise Movement, a left-wing group founded to fight climate change that has since directed its local chapters to fight the Trump administration. Sunrise is bankrolled by a who's who of deep-pocketed left-wing organizations. Open Society Foundations has sent it $2 million since 2019, according to its grant database. Half of the money supported general "social welfare activities." The Ford Foundation contributed $150,000 in 2024 and $550,000 in 2025, while the MacArthur Foundation—the 12th-largest private charity in America—gave $250,000 in 2024, according to tax filings and grant disclosures. Sunrise says it generally rejects "checks that come with expectations of input on our strategy." It also says donations go to support its local chapters with "materials, housing, technology, food, travel, training expenses, and more." Sunrise Twin Cities has collaborated with two other local groups to drive anti-ICE demonstrations: Unidos MN and Defend the 612." [Hidden Content]

A pardon cannot be for a future crime. -
You can expose the payers if you want. What’s the crime though? OMG, it’s the George Soros group! We can prove it! Charge them with…. uhhh….. charge them with…. Let me get back to you.
-
They might be able to stretch it into some kind of conspiracy but they crime would not be the pay but the plan to commit (at least in Texas) a felony. Merely planning a crime is not in itself a crime. It would have to be proven that 3 or more people got together and planned on committing a felony and at least one person in the conspiracy did an overt act to further the felony. At least under Texas law, saying that I’ll give you $50 if you go stand on the corner with a sign saying whatever I want like the police are there gestapo, is in itself not a crime that I know of.

Its going to be hard for PNG to make it in. Losing home games to teams where you had a chance to win can doom you. Now they have to travel to BH & Sterling and we know what happens out there lol !!! -

I have seen mass exodus from BC fans in the past. Just sayin. Foul and FT count discrepancies always happen on the home court. Even at Bridge City. Like last night, most times the better teams overcome those discrepancies. Part of the game. -
The 55-51 game was by far the more accurate game. I can link much better game footage than HUDL for anyone to make that assessment. Even in the 72-55 game, the score was 36-32 at half time. In any game, the more aggressive team fouls more especially if they’re playing full court defense for 32 minutes. Somehow every time a game is played at Silsbee, they don’t call blatant fouls against them. That game last night lasted almost an hour and a half due to all of the soft calls. Seemed like an attempted bail out. It’s been no different in the past. Last night, Silsbee shot 32 free throws, BC shot 16 free throws and 4 flagrant shots. One ref called 18 fouls, one called 17 and the third called 3. I actually thought BC had a decent turnout considering the atmosphere that has been there in the past. The amount of law enforcement present speaks for itself on that one. No matter who is playing, the fans should stay till the final buzzer to support their team. Fans trickling out a couple at a time is less obvious than a mass exodus! Just sayin.

I 100% agree. But when calling out another fan base, make sure yours is not doing the same to what you are criticizing. I have seen many times Bridge City fans bail on their teams in the 2nd half of games. Particularly in Silsbee games at BC. -

Do any local basketball teams travel well? A 45min drive on a Tuesday and an early start time sure don’t help for a fan base. -
Not if they peacefully protest. But which party is responsible if laws are broken? What are they being taught at these protest “teaching” sessions? The payers do need to be exposed!

The way to put an end to much of this immigration foolishness is for someone living in a sanctuary city/State to go to court over a specific policy that infringed on their rights under Federal Law. If they could prove personal harm that was Constitutionally protected, and get it to SCOTUS, we might make some progress. So far, most of the cases have been between Feds and States, and many have been dismissed. An actual individual party with a case would almost force SCOTUS to take up the issue, and make some kind of ruling one way or the other.

This would be very difficult to prove as no halfway intelligent person in this line of employment would leave a trail stipulating illegal training material. However--again--this is where liability could be charged, and the government has almost endless funds to prosecute a case. Typically, a losing proposition for the defendant. Just the threat of a lawsuit from the Feds would probably weed out some of the bad actors. The training materials would probably need to stipulate what was LEGAL, and ILLEGAL--and even have documentation showing the training had been received--to avoid liability. I read a story about another firm that specializes in organizing and paying for protests. They specifically said they'd been approached by people in MN, and had turned them down, as they wouldn't participate in illegal activities during their sponsored protests. So, it can be done the right way. Right now, the majority of these folks appear to be uneducated/useful idiot individuals. Some may even be lying about being paid, just to make themselves seem more important, and get attention.

Question. What score is the more accurate score when making the assessment of the two teams last year? The 55-51 score or the 72-55 score? BTW, Silsbee has lost 16 games this year which is the most losses in a season in over 25 years. So not making excuses for the fans, but it will take some getting used to with how down the Tigers are this season. At least in the perspective of how Silsbee has been over the last 20 years. Tiger fans are pretty spoiled from that 20 year run. Any fan base would be. I did notice that Bridge City didn't bring many fans themselves. Just sayin. BTW, I picked BC to win this game by 12. Pretty close pick. -
Only if you don't report income/payroll. You could also be held liable for their activity--if criminal. That's why I said the Labor Dept. needs to find a way to make them be considered 'employees' of some fashion where liability could be in play. They could still be paid protesters--which is entirely legal--but any illegal actions could be legally enforced easier with criminal penalties extending to the employers. People would also know they were paid instead of pretending to be a grass roots protest. That would paint the true picture for the public to judge. This wouldn't infringe on the right to protest. But, may cut down on some of the more violent/illegal issues. Of course, individual protesters are still on their own with their civil protections and liabilities as stated under current law. Nothing wrong with paid protesters as long as they--and their employers--obey the law. Incidentally, States and localities attempting to sue using the 10th should be immediately shot down because of the Supremacy Clause. If a judge grants them an injunction, it should immediately go to SCOTUS, and be overruled.
