Yeah that’s dumb to say lol

Of course no one on this post has said that, but if you were to look back at posts during the playoffs for the last 3 years, especially when they played PNG, there was several people on this site and others saying disparaging things, and insinuating that SOC coaches weren't good coaches and they were only winning because of " All of them D1 players"

Well, I have made mention in past posts dating back to the beginning of the year about the QB situation and my concern about the speed of the game regarding Barrier. I feel Wells is just a 1/2 beat faster in his decisions and release and from 3a to 5a is huge, imho. I mean no ill toward Barrier because he's doing all he is able, I just feel Wells operates at a different level. My biggest concern is his size, though. Anytime he breaks the line of scrimmage or is sacked, I cringe hoping he can just pop-up. But, that kid is a gamer and I have not once seen him shy away from a hit. That said, I hope and think BH will beat WB.

Many schools will wait until the last minute possible to send them in. So you'll see most pop up on November 7.

Anyone with a subscription to Dave Campbell's site have a list of the numbers turned in from all over the state? Can't find any of the Houston Area 5A/6A snapshot numbers? DFW and West Texas schools have posted theirs, but nothing from Houston Area. Any help would be appreciated!

It’s a little bit surprising because the Montgomery ISD area has been growing and Nederland is more or less landlocked. It looks like MHS lost students and LC stayed about the same.

Why is that a surprise? Montgomery has two high schools. Nederland has just one.

Actually Nederland has a higher enrollment than Montgomery!!

I agree. Cook for Huffman should be in the convo. But if I had to make one single choice, I would go with what those three HC's (neither was HJ's HC) stated about #1 for HJ. They are the ones who have to coach against him.

Call me crazy, but QB1 from Huffman should be mentioned in any conversation regarding the best athlete in the district. I've seen that dude play multiple times, and he is legit!

I agree. I love my bucs but this is probably going to be a one and done year again
