  1. Past hour
  2. It's been offensive to some but they felt powerless to change it.
  3. Didn't expect that but hope it works out. Stros were going for Brandon Lowe from Rays but he was place on IL for Rays and will miss trade deadline.
  4. Washington Redskins were called the Redskins for 87 years. Why did it take that long to offend?
  5. Astros have placed Lance McCullers on 15 day IL with a right finger blister. Houston has recalled up RHP Nick Hernandez from Triple A Sugarland. McCullers was scheduled to start tomorrow's game at Arizona. This makes 17 players on the IL for Houston. Most in MLB.
  6. Today
  7. Definitely for Silsbee. One could argue he is the best athlete in the district along with HF's Pirtle and Reed. Johnson will also be the man on the basketball court. Him moving to QB will help Silsbee tremendously. Had a really good 7 on 7 season.
  8. Yes, they were.
  9. For Silsbee. If I had no idea of him moving to QB, I would have picked him as the best athlete of the ones coming back from last year.
  10. For Silsbee or the district?
  11. I loved his songs, I wore out the Blizzard of Oz cassette....... but as a guitar player, Randy Rhodes was someone who I studied and tried to learn as much as I could from.....After about 10 years I learned I'll never play like Randy Rhodes......lol Ozzy became to rock music what Willie has become to Texas country.....a Legend RIP Ozzy
  12. Do you think Johnson would be the best skill player in general?
  13. Minnesota has over 70,000 Muslim Somalis in it, and that's just the ones that are accounted for. Many reports say the true number is 100,000. Somalis vote in unison, and elect Somali candidates no matter what. Once completely overwhelmed by Somalis and other Muslims, Minnesotans may not officially call their future government "Sharia Law" but they can effectively institute it without calling it by that name. The United States of America was certainly founded on Judeo-Christian values, even though we did not officially label our Laws as "Christian" Law. Make no mistake, Islam badly wants to overtake the west. They have Europe back on its heels already. Minnesota is their American foothold, and they want it to fall first. 14. True legend in the rock world. I was never really a Black Sabbath guy but Ozzy was just different. Rest easy
  15. “I Hope Obama Is Practicing His Mugshot Because Trump Set the Bar High” – Christina Bobb Joins Wayne Allyn Root to Talk the Deep State in Crisis Following Tulsi’s Document Drop! [Hidden Content]
  16. DoJ Asks Ghislaine Maxwell to Meet With Them. This should be interesting! [Hidden Content]
  17. Same here
  18. Totally agree. I hope the ingredients will be made here too. I’ve always felt a little insecure taking meds manufactured by our enemies. Remember how many dogs were killed by a bad batch of imported dog food? That hit home for a lot of people. Trump is doing what is good for America. Hate keeps them from admitting it.
  19. What do you suggest he do that you would agree with? Going after Obama and the deep state is about as huge as it gets. Don’t you have more important things to do than make yourself look foolish?
  20. AstraZeneca to invest $50 Billion in U.S. Medicines, R&D and Manufacturing [Hidden Content] This is very big news. Pharma coming back to the U.S. This is why I try to judge based on policy vs personality. Policies are what matter.
  21. Shouldn't he be more concerned with other things?
  22. Just to annoy people like you. It’s Trump’s freedom of expression.
  23. Yes, the name "Redskins" is widely considered offensive, particularly by many Native Americans, and has been a source of controversy for decades. The term is viewed as a racial slur and a derogatory term for Native Americans, and its use as a sports team name has been protested by Native American groups and activists. Here's why it's offensive: Historical Context: The term "Redskins" is rooted in a history of violence and discrimination against Native Americans, including the practice of offering bounties for the scalps of Native Americans. Racial Slur: Many consider "Redskins" to be a racial slur, similar to other derogatory terms for racial groups, according to the American Civil Liberties Union. Impact on Native Americans: Studies have shown that the name can negatively impact the self-esteem and identity of Native American individuals, especially youth, according to a UC Berkeley study. Perpetuates Stereotypes: The use of "Redskins" as a sports team name perpetuates harmful stereotypes and reinforces negative imagery of Native Americans, says the National Congress of American Indians.
  24. where do we draw the line? If 1 person in a million does not like something we say, we have to stop saying it? I believe we need to go back to sticks and stones....
  25. I agree
