  1. Past hour
  2. I know you are concerned with Texas politics, but are you in the clear of the reactor leak in SC? I haven’t heard any more on it.
  3. WOS on the road with nothing to lose... Refs could have sore arms and not be able to hunt the next morning
  4. Lufkin is really young this year. 5 sophomores and 1 freshman see heavy snaps on defense and 5 sophomores play heavy snaps on offense too including the QB. Im not expecting Lufkin to win but I think they're capable of making it interesting. This team is going to be really good down the road.
  5. Nederland has the talent and potential to be a much better football team, but there are some fundamentals that need to improve. Defensively, we have to become better tacklers and consistently finish plays by bringing guys to the ground. Offensively, we need longer, more sustained drives that keep our defense off the field and allow us to establish some momentum. Most importantly, we have to eliminate the costly penalties that put us behind the chains and take away opportunities. At the end of the day, it’s about executing the fundamentals, playing disciplined football, and being more consistent in all three phases of the game. The potential is there; now it’s about putting it all together.
  6. The Plea Deal: After a 2025 trial ended in a hung jury (7–5 mistrial), Paxton’s office agreed to a plea deal where Hoffman pleaded guilty to misdemeanors (indecent assault and display of harmful materials) rather than facing a retrial on felony charges. Sentence: Hoffman was sentenced to 60 days in jail (serving 29 days) and did not have to register as a sex offender. Prosecutor Rationale: Paxton’s office and prosecutors defended the agreement by stating the young victim and family did not want to endure the trauma of testifying in a second trial. I Dont care what you say,60 days for sexusl abusing a child is SICK!!!! He only served 29 days in jail. Trump has sent others to foreign countries for far less crimes. Do you even care about crimes against babies? Hoffman didn't even have to register as a sex offender. Paxton is a PPP! 🌊🌊🌊 Go ahead and defend him I'll wait.
  7. I dunno. I watched the awftop video and it didn't look good....
  8. Unfortunately I feel the Broncos take this one from the DOGS. BIG NED has to many internal issues they have to fix before they can play as a Team. I predict the DOGS to finish at #4 Seed
  9. Dogs should win unless they play like they did against Texas City. For some unknown reason they do not play well against those two teams
  10. The little freshman RB showed what he can do last game and he is fast..! I see something special with him and Matthew's next couple of years. 🫠
  11. Top 3 vs Bot 3 Massey been wrong about... Huffman 5x Vidor 3x LcM 1x -> at Huffman
  12. Today
  13. The young man throws a good ball. But, he needs some help from a run game bad. I liked the BU coach from the first interview I heard from him early this year. He seems like a good fit over there.
  14. Ned by 13 for the 3 seed. Should not lose this one.
  15. Played West Brook in like 20/21 or 21/22
  16. Just saw where Colmesneil at West Sabine is now a Thursday game.
  17. I didn't see that game, but I'll play along. Who in the district has put together a better argument for MVP? I know he averaged 300 rushing yards a game over a 3 game stretch. I doubt there's many that can compare to those numbers.
  18. The whole concept of playing for a FG hinges on having a great defense. Aubrey can be counted on, but it takes away from being aggressive on offense. The NFC East sucks so badly, the Cowboys are still in it. I don’t abandon my team, but the only HC I can remember who coached by being your friend was Bum Phillips. I’d really like a coach with some fire in their belly like Jon Gruden.
  19. Both these districts have Week 11 District Championship games to end the regular season. Couldn't have scheduled it any better. Here is the schedule and Massey projections: 12-2A D1 Shelbyville at San Augustine (Friday) Massey projections has this one 32-28 San Augustine 12-2A D2 Colmesneil at West Sabine (Thursday) Massey projections has this one 46-14 West Sabine I'll be attending the Shelbyville/SA game. Looking forward to a great game. I also think the Colmesneil/WS game will be closer than that projection. Thoughts?
  20. Nederland should take it. I thought they would dominate Texas city, so no prediction here. Nederland wins by at least 1.
  21. Some things still need to be settled here (seedings, all playoff positions clinched) Here is the schedule and the Massey projections: Livingston at Huffman Massey projections has this one 49-28 Huffman LC-M at Lumberton Massey projections has this one 28-13 LC-M Liberty at Vidor Massey projections has this one 49-14 Vidor Thoughts?
  22. Jasper could possibly go winless in district play for the first time since 1967. It also is the first time Jasper will miss the playoffs in consecutive years since the 1998 and 99 seasons. HF should cruise in this one with starters resting in 2nd half for playoffs. Massey projections has this one 42-7 Hamshire-Fannett Thoughts?
  23. Believe me…that still stings around here. Great motivator. That’s why you’ll hear people around here say “All gas. No brakes.” Abseck and staff have history with LP. They know what they’re walking into.
  24. It’s embarrassing to be a COWBOYS fan right now!!!
  25. Newton can clinch the #1 seed with a win. Woodville can get #3 seed with a win. Both have clinched playoffs Massey projections has this one 48-12 Newton
  26. 1. CE King 2. Summer Creek 3. West Brook 4. La Porte 5. PA Memorial 6. Texas City 7. Port Neches-Groves 8. Nederland 9. Kingwood Park 10. Lake Creek 11. Vidor 12. Little Cypress-Mauriceville 13. Huffman-Hargrave 14. Hamshire-Fannett 15. Silsbee 16. West Orange-Stark 17. Crockett 18. Fairfield 19. Diboll 20. New Waverly 21. Hardin 22. Newton 23. San Augustine 24. Garrison 25. West Hardin
