  7. If he was so concerned why did he end the Treaty that Obama signed when he was President? You guys fall for it all the time. 😆 🤣 😂
  8. Today
  9. Absolutely not. Article II in the Constitution makes the president the Commander-In-Chief of all US military forces. Article I grants Congress the authority to declare war but doesn’t define a war. For example, when Obama authorized the military to invade a sovereign country, Pakistan, for the purpose of killing or capturing Osama Bin Laden, he did not seek congressional approval nor should he have. Is capturing a terrorist a “war” requiring Congress to approve beforehand? Should there be a debate for a few days and a public vote to authorize such an action? Sorry but that is nonsense. After America withdrew from Vietnam, Congress enacted the War Powers Resolution (or Act)… which is probably unconstitutional but that’s not the point at the moment. The WPR requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of a military action and to keep Congress informed for the next 60 days. They can then decide to declare war, authorize further action or demand withdrawal. The act also allows for a 30 day withdrawal period. Note that the Korean War, Vietnam War and two Gulf Wars have been conducted without a declaration of war. So since 1945 the US has conducted at least 4 major wars…. without Congress having declared war. But wait!! Now they want to declare a war in order for the Commander-In-Chief to act? 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, let’s start NOW!! Forget 80 years of not declaring a war. In any case, the WPR allows the president to act and notify Congress within 48 hours. They have been notified. The WPR allows the president 60 to conduct military actions and 30 more days to withdraw without congressional approval. Next question?

  21. This kinda makes sense. It was reported that B-2's were heading towards Guam as a distraction. But, as this article states, Trump could have told Iran he's coming and they couldn't do anything about it. This articles also states the theory that the B-2's were for China's warning to NOT attack Taiwan while the Iran bombing was taking place. To be honest, as I've stated before, China's not going to do anything on the Don's watch! [Hidden Content]
  22. There was already something in place to prevent them from producing nuclear weapons. This reminds me of the time Bush said that Iraq had missles of mass destruction. What is the protocol for this type of air strick? Is it a requirement that Congress has to be notified? If so, he is not a dictator and cannot make that decision alone. During the Obama administration, the US pursued a policy of engagement with Iran, culminating in the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal. This agreement, reached with Iran, the US, and other world powers, aimed to restrict Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. Here's a more detailed breakdown: JCPOA: The JCPOA was a landmark agreement designed to ensure Iran's nuclear program would be exclusively peaceful. Key provisions included Iran limiting its uranium enrichment capacity and stockpile, and allowing international inspections. In return, UN, US, and EU sanctions related to Iran's nuclear program were to be lifted. Sanctions: The Obama administration also significantly increased sanctions against Iran, particularly targeting its oil sector and financial institutions. These sanctions were aimed at pressuring Iran to negotiate and accept the nuclear deal. Diplomacy: The JCPOA was the result of years of diplomatic efforts, including secret talks between the US and Iran.

  24. For a surgical strike that needed to be done, and required speed and secrecy for effectiveness and safety, I agree with POTUS authority. For any prolonged authorization, Congress needs to approve. Sadly, in our current state of affairs, we have too many sympathizers, grandstanders, purposeful leakers and--quite frankly--people exhibiting almost traitorous behavior to put a strike like this up for debate. When even the IAEA says Iran has nuclear material for offensive war use, and has sanctioned them for violations, it's time to do something.
  25. Sad, but true. democrats are sometimes our biggest threat to national security.
