Man, I think of all the players and coaches who have to put up with these comments. If you think negative comments helps your “team”, you’re wrong. To all the players and coaches, all teams have had games just like this. If not, it’s coming. Coaches, get your players together and tell them this was a tough loss, but that you and the fans are behind them. We’ll win the next one and make a deep playoff run. I don’t have a kid playing, I’m just a fan. Don’t take the negative comments to heart because they are not involved. Go Dogs!

Playoff Scenarios (Assuming GCM & BWB beat GB): IF BU beats RSS: GCM +11 BU +7 BWB -3 Lufkin -15 GCM & BU would advance as #3 & 4 respectively. PO seeds would be La Porte, PAM, GCM & BU in that order. La Porte & PAM with home field in Bi-District. IF RSS beats BU: Lufkin +21 GCM +7 BWB +1 RSS -29 Lufkin & GCM would advance as #3 & 4 respectively. PO seeds would be La Porte, PAM, Lufkin & GCM in that order. La Porte & PAM with home field in Bi-District. ***Interesting sidenote - In the summer, I predicted a PO breakdown of La Porte, PAM, GCM/Lufkin with GCM and Lufkin a toss-up for the 3 & 4 seeds...

It’s always nice to have a solid kicker… Our kicker in Bellville has been solid for a couple years now.. he is probably the best we have had in several years… not that we have had bad ones

Those 32 carries by Morris has to be the most by a single player at Silsbee since Calvin Tyler. I don't think Johnson had that many last year in a single game. Looks like Silsbee needed every one of those carries by Morris. Let's not forget that Morris is also the starting inside LB on defense. Herculean effort by him last night. Got to get Tyler back soon to help with the RB situation. Robinson and Jones (who both hadn't played RB all season until last night) will need more carries going forward as well.

PNG is going to continue to pump out very good football teams for a while.

I'm not sure the coach for HJ was making the right call. This kid should have the ball in his hands 20-25 times per game. The ruining back #3 is good as well. If #1 Warren and #3 ,were to start all year, I'm confident HJ would be a playoff team. Im not sure that staff knew what they had at QB.

Maybe bring him and a few others along for the playoffs.

I watched the game and I would be surprised if the Bulldogs had a hundred yards on the ground. I saw several tackles for a loss and many for a 1 or 2 yard gain. That is not what I would call good blocking. I thank you being a good Dad and fully supporting your son. Maybe he just had a bad night along with the other 4 lineman Just be glad that he wasn’t on the defensive side of the ball that couldn’t hold TC after taking a 35-34 lead with just 1:03 left in the game. If it was left up to me the only coaches I would keep would be receivers coach, RB coach, and DL coach

Don’t have any stats yet, but my kicker had an incredible game. 3/3 XPs, 1/1 on FGs, 5 of 6 kickoffs for touchbacks, 1 punt for about 40 yds after fielding a low snap. All in about the nastiest kicking conditions you can imagine with a 10-12 mph crosswind pretty much the entire game

I think the best game will be OSU @ USC. Hope USC wins, but if they lose, Riley might be gone. His buyout could be $70 million.

My favorite play of his tonight was actually an interception he threw. He pursued the kid who caught the ball when no one else could catch him and he lit his butt up, popping him out of bounds with a shoulder to the side. Kid is amazing
