Friendswood beat: FB Dulles (80-0), Victoria East (60-7), and Clear Brook (71-11) These 3 teams are a combined 1 - 10 on the year. Friendswood has had a cake walk with a cupcake schedule. Three very bad football teams they have beaten.

This game should be an advantage for the Panthers at home. For what I've seen in video of United, they have some good athletes. with QB Bronson, RB Brown and WR Green. They have an active front 7 group on D, not big numbers on their varsity so maybe some two way players. You can't over look anyone in this district or they will bite you. BU hasn't played anyone ranked and I think Lufkin might be the best they have faced so far this season. They still have LaPorte, Port Arthur memorial and the big rival game with BWB to play. All I can say is t This young Lufkin team has improved each week. Thought it was a great accomplishment to go on the road to Sterling for the first time this year and play well against a decent opponent. They were certainly fired up to play us, at least for awhile. Our D played just as tenacious as they did against PAM, they hit the Sterling QB so much early he didn't come back in the game, never did see exactly if he was hurt or not. He went out of the game last year against us too? Sterling came back with a WR wildcat that was successful for just a couple drives, then after Lufkin adjusted that too went away. Sterling is a scrappy team, they don't stop playing. I thought our O did real well and maybe left a little meat on the bone in the 2nd half, I think all the sophomore connections are getting better.

Lufkin Gametime will have this game on YouTube per the usual. BISD must be too cheap nowadays for broadcasting 🙃

Wrong thread for this but my comparison is this and its program based. And all I know to compare it to with facts. Im glad thats an excuse for the boys in red because the boys in green and gold have still competed with worse. Just a few i have knowledge of...2026 (Senior starting RB out with broken collarbone) and also noted to be a younger group. (last year returning all district qb out several weeks) Still competed. Rarely have the luxury or several great athlete groups in a row... Hardly talked about as a team to potentially miss playoffs in a cake district. And that comes down to the coaching and what you're doing to prepare undrrclassmen to step up. Challenging? Absolutely... excuse for losing in one of the worst districts in the state of texas? Probably not IMO.. Most halfway decent similar sized programs likely can make the playoffs in our dist. suiting their jv squad. And all that hype about the leader you have now dont produce? Find a better one. Unfortunately its a results based business. Otherwise they dont opt up and being just a motivational speaker won't work. Which one is it? Time will tell. Im not blaming the kids. Or lack there of whatever we wanna call it.

He misspelled his name, then, it has an "i" where an "o" should be. WRT this year's team, they sort of remind me of me. Sometimes you can have all of the best coaches in the world, and devise the best plays, and get everyone in the correct spots, and still someone will jump offsides.

Dctf’s computer needs to lay off the good stuff. PNG isn’t a top 10 team. We’ve still got potential but what we do with it remains to be seen.

They have a QB with an offer from Texas Southern… and a WR with D1 offers…As I stated before I wasn’t surprised that HF won but I was kinda at the margin. When Bellville played them we had no issues moving the ball a lot of times until getting around the 25 yard line where we ended up making 3 field goals… that’s essentially what cost us the game that we should’ve won because we didn’t finish those drives in the end zone. Stafford isn’t bad but they do make some mistakes. HF is playing really well right now and an off night from Stafford (not saying that’s what it was) could’ve happened.

At QB or on defense? I dont think he's played much at qb other than a few snaps game 1 against LCM.
