Tickets go on sale today online. They'll probably be sold out today. No idea if they'll allow standing room only. I know Fox 26 Houston (Nate Griffin) will be at LP in the morning, and Inside Houston High School Sports said they'd have someone at the game. Usually, most of the Houston media has someone at the game. Pretty sure they will this year with the new stadium. One of the best games to start a new season. One of the oldest rivalries that's actually a true town vs town rivalry with an almost equal record. Hope it doesn't rain. I'll try to post when I find out about the tailgating. They're supposed to have food trucks and other stuff before every home game this year.

If I am totally innocent of any wrongdoing and the Feds are searching my house, you will hear me screaming at the top of my lungs..”WTH are you people doing?” It would make the news. -

Oh I agree - but typically you get some sort of statement from your legal team. I'm sure he has excellent lawyers. -

I'm leaning towards LP 21-17. These games--except for a few recent outliers when LP was rebuilding the program--are typically close, and the unexpected is expected. Since LP doesn't have the three-headed rushing monster any more, it will be interesting to see how they modify the offense to fit the strengths they have this year. I'm also very curious about the QB position. I assume the 3 year starter (Saenz) will get the start. He's a very solid game manager. But, if the offense struggles, do we see the soph phenom Wells? I wasn't able to make the scrimmage against Dobie. So, I'm flying blind as they say.

I assume that's on advice of legal counsel since he's still in the middle of the NDA lawsuit over his book. When the Govt. comes after you, generally the best thing to do is say nothing. -
My prediction: Silsbee Nederland Huffman HJ Liberty LCM BC Livingston

What happened to the starting QB for LCM? Hopefully nothing too serious?

That policy is for players that are eligible to play varsity sports. It's not in play for players who are ruled ineligible for varsity sports. If they choose to stay at the school that they are ineligible for, they have to play JV if they were to play. No matter if they are all state or not.

John Bolton's home and office raided by federal agents

Now it's ok what? What I find telling is not one word or statement from Bolton or even his legal team. Complete silence...... Not even the generic I've done nothing wrong. -

Who knows? I could be a tactic to get her to talk. I find it hypocritical they accuse her of being a "known" liar and she will say "anything" because she was charged with perjury and but never convicted. Yet, we have Michael Cohen, convicted of perjury in 2018 used as a "key witness" in Trumps cases.......Funny how bias works

Honestly, not sure what to think about this one. On the one hand seems Crosby torched Lee in the Scrimmage, on the other hand we lost to the Broncos last year and had an extremely hard time scoring all year. We know Coach P from Dayton will have something for the Cougars and given his coaching they are likely trying to jump out early and then grind it out, but the Cougars cannot let that happen. Think this is a close win by Dayton or a blowout by the much larger school (400+ students). We will see but that seats going to be on fire if Crosby loses this one. Hoping for a big day for the Cougars, with cautious optimism.
