That's the one I told him about. Both BMT schools have a very good freshman QB coming up honestly. -

PS : supposedly yall cover the entire area, so yeah, you should be concerned about all of schools discipline and coaching acumen , or lack thereof

They won’t answer you, the replies and comments are all about hurt feelings and not getting what they wanted. Has nothing to do with winning, discipline, etc… an 80 game winning streak would somehow be made into a failure, 16 shutouts in a row, nothing would be enough. But the person they want can have an overall losing record, never have won a single playoff game , a district championship, or anything resembling success, but they’d still be “ A Great Coach” -

I wonder if all the counties in the United States have learned to count votes by now or will it take a week to count them?

If a player is being blatantly disrespectful and won’t listen, then they definitely should be kicked off the team, I’m sure every school in the state has , or has had a player like that , that’s not the same issue as getting penalties in a game .

Stepp was mentioning in the Tepp & Stepp pod today that Randle’s QB is down, and LWC is a little dinged. He thought Randle may be without their QB for the rest of the year, and was concerned about their chances of going deep. Anyone else hear anything more?

West Orange Stark vs Hardin-Jefferson
WOSdrummer99 replied to monknuk68's topic in High School Football
What other team ahould we be concerned about? Silsbee, PA, BU, Carthage? No I'm only there to support the Mustangs. I was at a practice a couple years ago. You probably saw me there. After practice some kids were running stands. Not really running. More like walking. The coach there to oversee the discipline told them to hurry up and they cussed him. I assume would never be allowed in other programs. For example... week 1 our player was ejected for a throat punch. He came back to the sideline in plain clothes during the 4th. Don't think that should have been a loud.... but! lol -

There's only one team that yall are so concerned about discipline, penalties, and accountability ( yalls new favorite word ) and everyone knows why. Rest assured, no one on this site needs explain the definition of a single word to me, probably would struggle trying to considering the response. I never asked for the definition of accountability, but what exactly do yall expect said accountability to be ? Running laps, spanking, sitting on the bench, or should the coaches consult with yall geniuses to see what works best ? Kick a player off the team for getting a penalty? If yall have an honest bone in ya bodies , drop the pretenses and the fake concern and admit that the current coaching staff wil NEVER have yalls support, there will always be a yeah but !

That's very possible. Seems to be no love for Dayton around here, but they seem to always play Nederland a close game. ... Just like TC.
-
I have the same feeling about this game that I did when Ned played TC. I was one of the few who predicted a TC victory, which happened. I hope Nederland can get it together, but I’m feeling that Dayton will come away with the win in a close one.

I'll be curious to see how Silsbee handles the Shepherd offense. The Silsbee D struggled against Vidor. If they struggle again against Shepherd, you better hope someone knocks out Bellville before round 3. -

I heard it’s still up in the air. Heard the clear to play will happen this week, however, as a precaution, the kid may be forced to he held out. However, I heard there is a QB in the program that is a gamer and could get the nod. And I’m not talking about the backup QB that played against Port Arthur… -

UIL Boys State Semifinal Sites Announced
Coach.Shu replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Would be nice to have two semi locations - Region 1vs 2 one location - two days of games, Region 3 vs 4 one location two days of games. The small school big school format makes it difficult if not impossible though so maybe 1a-3a sites, 4a-6a sites or any combo like that. -
UIL Boys State Semifinal Sites Announced
DatBarkinBobcat replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Instead of having them scattered across multiple predetermined sites, why not turn the semifinals into one big Texas high school basketball jamboree? Similar to what we already do for the state championships. But hey, I'm just here to complain. 🤭 -
SmashMouth started following Hardin County Early Vote
-
According to the Texas Secretary of State, Elections Division: "About 77% of adults in Hardin County typically vote, above the U.S. average of about 62%. Among adults in Hardin County, ~12% vote Democratic, ~64% Republican, and ~24% don't vote." So of the ones who vote, 83.12% generally vote Republican, 15.58% vote Democrat and the other 1.3% vote otherwise (Independent).

UIL Boys State Semifinal Sites Announced
bullets13 replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Don't love it. there's going to be some matchups where both teams have to travel way out of the way to play each other, and others where one basically gets a home-court advantage while the other has to travel long distances. if they're not going to have the semis played at the state tournament then sites should be determined after matchups are determined.
