Jacob Hooker's Wildcats took Game 1, 13-3 in six innings, to go up 1-0 in this series. Should a Game 3 be necessary, it will take place 30 minutes after Game 2. The winner of this series will join New Deal (Reg. 1, 30-4), Muenster (Reg. 2, 34-4-1), and Woden (Reg. 3, 27-6-1) at the Class 2A State Tournament next week in Round Rock/Austin.
