Watch a few GT games and you might agree.  Went undefeated this season, won their district.  They shutout 2 district opponents.  GT scored over 30 points on all opponents , except one, their first game when they scored  only 27 points. 
Only 2 teams have even scored in the 20s on GT this season. 
Those are facts. 
Georgetown is tough, well-coached, tremendous program.

Referring to their building program that feeds their varsity.  How many schools have 2 JV teams, 2 freshman teams to feed their varsity on a 4A level?

Great season for SC, 11-1 is nothing to hang your head on. Plenty of teams would love to be 11-1. Y'all ran into a team that had a good game plan and the athletes to match your team. Good luck to y'all next year.

Never doubted GT s ability and strength of their team! I actually tried to warn SC that this was going to be their biggest test to date. I still stand behind my statment of " ANY team can lose at any given time!"

The SC fans are not going to be satisfied with the loss and 11-1 even though they are not near as good as they thought they were. The weaker district plays into effect here. A normal Dayton team would have helped SC get ready for a team like this but Dayton wasnt up to them usual selves. So what is amazing to me is that for all the trash we heard its the Nederland Bulldogs who own the night. They will play in round 3 not summer creek bulldogs. 5 years from now people will remember that it was the Bulldogs from Nederland who advanced the deepest in the playoffs.
