Congratulations to all the teams in the USFA Texas State Tournament this past weekend but especially to our GT Shockers 2000 team coming in 2nd place.  They won a pretty large tournament at Ford Park the week before and worked very hard all fall.  In the semi-finals of the state tournament we fought hard and were lucky to come out on top of another great team in our GT Shocker family.  The GT Shocker 2001 team came in third.  Congratulations to both teams and we look forward to a great 2013 season.

I agree.  Every game we played was close.  We were down a couple runs in at least 2 of those games but the girls did not get down on themselves.  They continued to cheer and maintain a positive attitude.  They continued to fight.  We lost to a very good team in the finals - Impact - out of Houston.  Good job girls.  Looking forward to the spring.
