Trinity had 3 safeties high in a prevent defense and the coach called for a 15 yard post that ended up being a pick 6.  It was the last play of the first half and they were on their own 35.

Are you aware that players sometimes do not execute plays the way they are coached? Groveton has excellent coaches with a sophmore QB. They will be very competitive this year and will be in the playoffs soon if not this year regardless of how this game comes out.

Have to agree with 89, can not judge on one play that may not have even executed correctly.

That may be true but when the coaching staff is sulking more than the players that says something.  Add in the timeouts burned because Groveton can't get 11 players on the field.

Also in defense of the coaches, a lot of teams( especially lower classifications) struggle with getting the right players( usually the right number) on the field. Don't know about the sulking, that can be a subjective impressions. Things on the field or sidelines are not always as they appear from the stands.

1A- small 3A you will have trouble getting players on the field, especially with a young team such as Groveton. With a young team coaches will typically do worse than "sulking".
