The Might Vidor Pirate Offensive line, of course!!! Undersized, under rated, lion hearted. Lead the district in rushing and second in team offense. Three rounds deep in the playoffs!! Dumb question.
Everything that you stated about vidors line could be said about Kelly's to. Not saying vidor didn't have a better line than Kelly I'm just saying it seems like both teams offensive lines were very alike. Under rated, undersized, and fought till the end every play. Both teams also had a potent rushing attack it seemed like anyone with decent speed could have gone in the Kelly backfield and picked up significant yards.

Here's a stat i bet you can't say about the Kelly line. In every single one of Vidor's game the offensive line was out matches by atleast 50 pounds per player and 2 games we were outmatched 100 pounds per player. That means each player had atleast 50 or 100 pounds less than the guy in front of them and yet they were still dominating.

The fact that Kelly plays private school footbal means that it is highly unlikely they faced teams that out weighed them by 50-100 pounds, aside from the week they played Liberty they would have faced 300 lb Omar Tebo, and 270 lb Ryan Melton

Hate to disagree RobanaDana, PNG man handled Vidors O for 3 1/2 quarters until we got too conservative on offense. Not saying Vidors Offensive line isn't good, but don't think they were the best in SETX.
Hate to break it to ya but allowing over 200 yards on the ground in the first 3 quarters to a team that has one of there starters out isn't really man handling. Yeah yall won the game but yall didn't man handle our oline. What you did was you played stay at home football and your safety kept us from getting to the outside.

200 yards in 3 quarter? You guys rushed for 221 for the game, does that mean you guys only rushed for 21 yards during the forth? What starter was out??

Bolinger was out. He tried to play as you can see the 2 attempts but was still injured. And yes as many people have brought up we changed our offense in the fourth quarter when powell went in as the passer. So yes my numbers may be a lil off but if we didn't get 200 yards we were no more than 10 yards away from it.
Okay? I never said we could have beat Vidor this year did I? (Although with the way we were playing at the end of the season I don't think y'all would have destroyed us at all) I just think that at each others own level both teams were undersized by alot and Kelly fared better. I'm not saying Vidor wasn't a great team, Vidor had a great season and i was pulling for them all season. I just think Kelly had a better season.

Oh and I am tired of everyones thought process that Kelly is playing nobodies because they are a private school they probably played about as many if not more D1 commits than Vidor did this year.

http://www.beaumontenterprise.com/sports/hs/article/Feeling-undersized-the-norm-for-Kelly-linemen-2311742.php

Beaumont Enterprise story on how undersized Kelly's line was. Read the first sentence of the article then come back and tell me Kelly plays no one. Oh yeah and we embarressed his team 42-0 and put up 277 rushing yards WITHOUT our leading rusher get out of here with the idea Kelly plays weak D-Lines. How many Under Armour All Americans did Vidor's line dominate?

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
