As announced Sunday (very, very late due to Tim Tebow and his overtime victory) on KFDM Channel 6 Sports Xtra, here are the SETXsports Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week:

[b]Offense - Sherman Gilbert, RB, Coldspring-Oakhurst[/b]

Gilbert carried the ball 25 times for 301 yds and scored the Trojans' two touchdowns in a 13-7 victory over Lorena.

[b]Defense - Tyrone Watkins, LB  Ozen[/b]

Watkins had 14 tackles (10 solo, 4 assists) and 3 tackles for losses in Ozen's 18-6 defeat at the hands of La Marque.
