Bellville had only two plays that were productive and they produced a touchdown. A 40 yard gallop up the middle on a misdirection play and followed up with a pitchout halfback pass that had sucked up the Trojan defensive backs. In the close games it may only take two plays to win all the marbles.

Coldspring has to get a kicker and then has to hide a slew of yellow flags if they want to continue their quest.

I think Bellville has the best Athletes of all the high schools in that area, I lived in that area for awhile, Sealy had good teams as well as Columbus, Halletsville and Brookshire Royal, but I would have to say Bellville hands down had the best out of that area

I was talking to am ex player from Bellville in 06, he told me that they had beaten Newton in a playoff game 1 yr, but he said they had never played a team that hit so hard, I got the same response from the guys from Brookshire Royal
