House is out, but his 900 plus yards in 5 games still remains in the top section of the stats for region 3. That's all they are going by. Kid was on a roll to have a great year. But unfortunately things got sidetracked. But we have a healthy Jimmie Dominick and Dedrick Linton, and they have balanced out well.

Dang that really sux. I hate to see a kid miss games due to an injury or other reasons on his senior but you gotta think he just might get a D1 scholarship with those stats he has. I mean 900 yards in 5 games. That's crazy!

Yes it's definately game night, and all the BS means nothing now. I guarantee all of these kids on both sides, have busted their tails all year, even through the hottest Summer on record. And the payoff is that here we are in late November and still haven't turned in the pads for the year. May every kid on the field have a good game, and put up their very best effort, and let the cards fall where they may. May they all be healthy, both mentally and physically, no matter the outcome at the end of the day. And everyone traveling to the game, it is Friday Night in a really busy part of town, and be aware of the idiots driving around you, because they may not be aware of you, and it really puts a dampner on a game, when not everyone makes it back home safely. There is a lot more to life than football, but tonight it's going to feel like there's not. Everyone, leave earlier so you don't have to rush, and be just a careful on the way home. These kids need their parents and loved ones more than a win, but you might have a hard time convincing them of that right now. I'm expecting a good ole fashion, Friday night football classic, and may the best team win, regardless who that is. My boys hate to lose, but they also know how blessed we are, to be able to do these great things in life. Because they know there are young men and women, right now, not much older than they are, in some third world country, in the worst of conditions, making sacrifices far worst than two a days in 100º heat. If you know a soldier, or a family that has a child in harms way, shake their hand and hug their neck, because we all owe them more than we can ever repay......

Now that the smack talk part of the week is behind us.... we can now climb into the stands and cheer each player, band member, drill team, cheer squad, coaches and officials to do their best job to their best ability and winner go forward and loser be proud they made it this far..... I may be wrong but I think the best way would be to take I 10 into Houston then take 59 to the Beltway. I think that way would see less traffic. I wouldn't go through Dayton, traffic will be insane if you go that way. Just my thoughts. And yes vp32, the beltway is a toll road.

That's the way i was gonna go. Why go on a road that you have to pay to get onto if you can just take 59 to aldine bender road?

A friend of mine that travels that area ALOT told me that a portion of the beltway close to Aldine doesn't have the toll booths. It's ez tag only and if you don't have a tag the camera takes a picture of your license plate and they mail you a bill. Mark or Brenhamfan, any input? Just curious.
