21-3A DISTRICT CHAMPS--- SILSBEE TIGERS!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Sealy vs. La Grange in the 1st round
I would probably say Sealy will win

Last year Sealy went 3 deep in the playoffs in 3A Region 4
Sealy lost to Stafford

Stafford went to state but lost to the state champions Lubbock Estacado

2010-2011 Info on Sealy:

Overall   District   Home   Away   Neutral
16-11-0   7-2-0   9-4-0   5-4-0     2-3-0

Win %   PF   PA
.593 1842 1651

Sealy’s Big Guy’s

#4    Ricky Seals--jones    6-5    220  -  Averages 19 points a game
#31  Reid Richardson        6-6      200
#44  Raymond Johonson    6-6    180
#50    Thomas Verm          6-8    230

Tigers speed vs. Sealy and their height

I guess Silsbee will just have to run them down and execute
the last team that Silsbee played with size was Dayton which Silsbee did beat

Anyone know what Sealy's starting line-up is?  How many of those big guys are in the game at once!!

all 3 play at the same time and Seals-Jones is a nephew of Eric Dickerson

he is all-state as a sophomore

The Jones kid seems legit with 19 points a game

But seems that the other big guys only put up 5 or 6 points a game

All I know is Stafford swept them in district and they mostly play players of '5"9 to '6"2. Stafford does have a '6"8 soph. but was told he doesn't play alot of minutes.

Navasota coach told me Sealy was big, but they would have lots of trouble with Silsbee's speed and depth. Navasota beat Sealy earlier in the season.

I dont see a 16-11 team beating a 27-2 Silsbee team that plays very up tempo. If Sealy plays and beats La Grange, I would imagine this game would be played somwhere in Houston next Monday or Tuesday night.

Check the brackets, BadSanta.  BiDistrict games Feb. 21, 22.  I believe that's next Monday and Tuesday.  Area games are Feb. 24, 25.  That would, of course, be Thursday and Friday of next week.  You're welcome.  Always happy to correct something that you have posted. ;D ;D
