From a betting standpoint, I might have an interest.  If somebody will simply make the line, I will be happy to bet $550 to win $500 or lose $550.

Ok- I didn't realize he was "making the line".  I just thought he was demonstrating his confidence in his Hawks.  Poppa, you need to get on here and clarify, please.

Sure- Just like a couple of years ago, oil got to $150 per barrel and it was a gut cinch that $200 was just around the corner.  Instead it went to $60.  So, I respectfully disagree -it is gambling and, it is not out of the realm of possibilities that either team could win by double digits even though I hope it goes down to the wire.

correction.  it was actually two stacked midgets wearing a trench coat because of the cold conditions.  but yes, they DO play basketball

I stand behind my confidence in the Hawks....I still say that we will win by 13 points....We will have an 8 point lead when the tigers will have to start fouling....and we will make 5 of 6 free throws to seal the deal, why is that so hard for some of you to understand.....I know, I know, how dare I think that the Hawks could win...Some of you kill me, I'm entitled to my opinion, and I just added take it to the bank because I feel confident in it.

Thanks for the clarification.  I had that sneaking feeling that some had misinterpreted your statement and tried to exploit you via their own misinterpretation.  I think it is fine that you believe that because I know of a guy who predicted Silsbee would mop the floor with HJ in the first game and nobody tried to "make book" on it.
