Just because LCM freshmen and JV beat Lumberton subvarsities doesn't mean I was bragging, I was just reporting a score. And I heard before the frosh game that Lumberton's froshes were salty-don't shoot the messenger. And I wouldn't give all the credit to an "influx of wos players." The varsity will start 1 or 2 guys tomorrow that went to WOS last year. And yes, Coach Crouch is an immesurable improvement over Moody, but give credit where credit is due; this year's seniors were the ones that were the sophomores starting on that 2008 debacle and all the hard work and experience have apparently paid off. That being said, they are still 0-0 in district and it is quite understand why Lumberton is favored in the game

Three years later, it took a Hail Mary on the last play for that same NS bunch to beat Lee by 4. Lee should be used to it at this point this year. I know LP beat them at least 38-0. I'm not sure how bad they have been whipped by the other teams on their schedule.Lee just doesn't have more than one or two guys that really look like they want to play football. hitman009
Lee is really bad and coaches are not to bright either.... if you lock up man to man and blitz the outside line backers every time.. all it takes is to get past the first line and your running on the secondary.... which could not catch anyone cause they are chasing the widerecievers....Crosby Fresh are really good though.... man they are big, fast, can catch, hit.... they dont have a weak spot.... there LB hit some one so hard agaist Dawson there helmet poped off and flew 10 feet in the air!!! mfd814
Kountze JV 30 Hardin JV 14Good game. Kountze has a good ground game with speed and power. Better game then I anticipated. Hardin's defense looked good, despite the numbers. A few fluke plays, but #3 for Kountze is legit. QB is big and strong too.
Tyrone_Biggums
It's a fine line. If you have your reserves playing, I think you send the wrong message by not expecting them to execute. On the other hand, it would suck to be a freshman on the Lee team and get beat that badly. I don't think it's poor sportsmanship if you are running up the middle with reserves, if the Cougars had an air raid offense going in the fourth quarter, then that's just bad juju man. Sounds like both the cougars and the broncos have a lot to look forward to in the future.
