Guest GCMPats
Thanks Brook. That's just what I wanted to hear. Played on the Sterling team that tied Brook in the Dome that year. Sure wish we would of had OT back then.

BrenhamFan
Brenham- 2002 & 2009... (went 11-0 in 1941, winning the region, but that's as far as a 1A school could go back then)*That is more messed up than a tie.

I believe Ball blocked a FG attempt that would have put Sterling ahead 10-7.
Guest GCMPats
Yep. The weird part is that if we would have let them score on the returned blocked FG (we tackled him inside the 10) it would not have counted as a penetration and RSS would have advanced. Went and watched the Bruins beat LD Bell and knew it could have been us.
Guest GCMPats
Would have gone up 10-0. WB only scored after the blocked FG.

Cardinal Supporter
Bridge City went twice that I know of. 1965 lost but I don't remember to who. 1966 won against Mckenny 30-6. I think this is the two years they went. I moved to BC in the late 70's and don't know if they had ever been earlier than the mid 60's.
