I heard over the weekend out in Baytown that Friendswood's ace was hurt...I dont know if its true or not?

Galveston county paper said he was taken out because of soreness in his shoulder.
Looks like they have another young potential ace emerging though.  I'm interested to check out this fastball that's in the low 90's.

Freindswood does not stand a chance in this series....I was shocked to
see their coach act the way he did in the PN-G third game when he lost
the balls and strikes count on Austin Stone. He made a "FOOL" of himself...

injun, I think I know why the FW coach was upset.  The 1st pitch was a ball but the plate umpire motioned with his left hand toward 1st base to indicate that the ball was outside.  Usually when he called a strike he would motioned toward 1st base with his right hand.  The coach probably thought that the umpire motion indicated a strike.

Thanks Oldeagle beat me to it, here is what I was typing when your post came in;

Wow - way to lose with class. Then of course PNG would not stand a chance of course. And please the coach was simply arguing for his team. He never cursed, he, as was I , was convinced the first ball was called a strike. The ump had a very similar move to signify wide vs strike. I was positive he had called the first pitch a strike. Many many others were also convinced. One of my best friends, a PNG dad, told he he was sure it was called a ball, with the ump motioning wide. He had a better angle since he motioned towards the PNG bench and I trust my friend. But to react the way you did and then make the comment about losing the way you did was uncalled for. Geez, simply taking up for his team and he was convinced he was right.

[/quote]There were 5 pitches thrown before the crazieness started. With no foul balls hit how could the count be 2 & 2, which is what your coach was
ranting and raving about... Remind me again about the comment I made about "how we lost" ...  And that is correct I don't think we could hang with Brenham either...

Wrong again - there was a foul ball, I was keeping score on my palm with scorekeeper, tracking every pitch. Bashing a coach and then saying you guys have no chance - very classy!
