The 2009 Class 3A All-State high school football team, released Tuesday, as voted on by The Associated Press Sports Editors based on regular-season performance. Players are listed in alphabetical order at each position.

Nope, only local 3A school that had anyone make the teams was Jasper. ::)

Again, I have never liked the AP all state teams, always too political.

Yep...I gave up on the AP polls a couple years back when they named Dravanti Johnson 4A Defensive MVP his senior year. He didn't even make 1st team all district (but he was a highly touted UT recruit)!

That is a lot of recognition for the defense.  They were solid this year.

Looks like our only losses were to State Finalist and we beat one State Finalist.  All 4 of those were seniors so we will have to reload.
