That ranking does you nothing unless you take care of business each week.

If I were PN-G I wouldn't even look at them...
Just keep winning ONE WEEK AT A TIME!!!

This week PN-G needs to shoot down the Eagles, then you concentrate on the next game.

The team and coaches know that but it is fun for the fans.  ;D

It's all cute and everything, but Beat BH.  Remember I told you I was going to be hard on you?  Well here it is.  You beat this team by 1 point this year.  This is a .500 team.  Those kids that will be across the field have it in their minds that they can beat you and felt like they shouldn't have lost that game earlier.  Knock them out early to let them know that yall are on a mission.  I expect big thing from PN-G over there in D-2...

Your hopes are safe, as I'm sure mine are in regards to Central.

I would love to see a doubleheader. We should get both schools in on this. Have the second school to play's fans, band, drill team, cheerleaders, and football players show up early to support the first school, and have the first school's fans and students stay late to support the second school.

It probably wouldn't happen but boy would it be awesome if it did.

I remember back in 99 when we would play in the dome the players would get there early and sit in one of the end zones and watch whatever game was being played.  It was awesome.

I remember those days to and i think the best thing about seeing Lamarque out there in the endzone watching as we whipped up on one of those teams that was wishing they were playing someone else. they looked so confident walking out , talking all that noise all week long only to get their ends kicked all over the field, that was a good memory to reflect on, sure would like to make those trips again and see Stephensville one more time, now that we actually have a real coaching staff AND not a good ole boy from the 70s!  Good luck to the tribe and stay focused, stay hungry and lets abuse some eagles this week and send them home crying scratching their heads and wondering how they could go back and change their outcome one more time.lol Soulja you just thought i was in hiding, sorry couldnt meet up with you after the game, we had a scare in the stands and it wasnt a good thing for my daughter to see, i would like to thank all of the first responders for acting quickly and saving a mans life and doing a fine job at what they are trained to do, Thanks again with much respect, and a speedy recovery from your surgery hope everyone keeps you in their prayers i know i will.

In the playoffs, what you did last week counts less as to what you can do this week! At this point, rankings don't mean squat! Team and player stats don't mean squat! One loss and you are out period! Play every down as if it is your last and fight to the end!

JMHO!

Good Luck Port Neches-Groves Indians! Stay Hungry!

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
