  2. Does anyone have any updated scores for PN-G and Nederland in this tournament?
  3. Very reliable source says that l.neuman is interested
  4. This is a shocker! What happened? I though Stephenville would not be challenged till play-off time!
  5. OF had 3 good chances to put points on the board (inside the 10 yd. line), but mistakes, penalties, or a turn-over would snuff out the effort. The Bobcats players played hard, but Coldspring has way to much speed. OF could never get their sweep going around the end because the CS defense was just too fast. It is impossible to come from behind in the score when you run the offense that OF runs. It is too difficult to over-come any mistakes such as penalties, mis-handled snap, negative yardage plays etc. It is an offensive style that requires tremendous execution with little or no mistakes. Getting in a hole is just very difficult to overcome without a passing game. My compliments to the OF crowd--they didn't leave early and they really care about and support their team. The players played with a lot of heart and spirit and they never gave up. Good luck the rest of the season and don't let 1 game determine who you are!!
  6. PN-G  31 GP      14 Indian defense looked good in the scrimmage last week. Miller will be fine at q.b. and he is a terriffic runner. Looking forward to the game, just wish it was friday instead of saturday.
  7. I think that any great coach recognizes what offensive plays and/or schemes work best with the athletes that he has. Coach Thompson has been in this business for a long time, and if he does change the offense, it's because he thinks it will suit the players he has the best.
  8. Does Cavness even reside and pay taxes within PNGISD?
  9. Thanks for the scoring updates WOSgrad. Sounds like the Lady Indians came to play!
  10. Thanks for the score update and the info. about the Indians next opponent. Great job PN-G!
  11. Typical tough rivalry game with Ned. Indians have to hit the ball. If a team is going to committ 4 errors and you can't take advantage of it--makes it a tough night. Two or three key hits and you have a different outcome. Good job of pitching by Ned.
  12. Even if you have a "Responsible" bond package/proposal, the thing that is most important is to have responsible and knowledgeable people to over-see the program. Your average school board member does not have the proper experience for projects of this magnitude. I appreciate the sacrifice, service, and dedication of school board members, but most do not have the financial background it takes to responsibly maintain a bond project. IMHO.
  13. Should be a great game, especially after each team started with a disappointing loss on Tues. Neither team wants to start district 0 - 2. Go Indians!!
  14. Where is Rudder? I have never heard of them! Are they 4A or 5A?
