Anafanatic, see what happens when you play a weak schedule. If you think EC got a solid defense, wait until your Panthers play Kirbyville. Honestly, I don't think your Panthers can hold any of my Cats jock strap. Good luck on the rest of the way.

You and several EC fans are acting like EC completely blew Anahuac away.  It sounds like two good teams played a very good game that could have gone either way.  If losing by one point to a team was because of playing a "weak" pre district that is not saying much for the winner.-----in other words, you insulted two good teams at the same time.

We know we didnt blow Anahuac away.  But having to read how the AP was gonna beat us by 3 or 4 tds, and we werent gonna be able to run on them at all.  Then we do run all over them,  and we end up beating them by 1 point.  Theyre words just kinda slapped them in the face,  dont ya think?  If you would read some of their post you would understand where we're comin from.

Great game by both teams.  Oh, and ECBUCFAN, I like my crow fried with mashed potatoes.

Anahuac fans were totally classless at the end of the game.  One of them was running the coaches down as their wives passed in front of the stands.  One of the wives took exception to it and the fan had to be removed by the police. 

Keep in mind, fans, for all our coaches do, there is a wife or family member that might be sitting beside or behind you.  They are human beings also, and no one comes to your job and screams at you how to do your job better.  Respect the wives and children of coaches.

Good job Anahuac and EC!

Easy DUDE, not all Anahuac fans are classless!! Your talking about one guy! Don't group us all together. He does the same thing every game. Just a loud mouth idiot!

E.C. was the better team Friday night. Congrats to them, and good luck the rest of the year.

Guess y'all are waiting for my response....well, i'm still chewing on crow!!  All I can say is congratz to my neighbors on a well-executed game.  I thought we would come out flat, but score more than 13 for sure.  Offense never seemed to find any ryhthm, so credit the Bucs' defense.

Well Nanna, when you read a weeks worth of stuff like that ^^^^^above, you cannot critique' what you are reading now.  ::)

You are right, having to listen to that can get old.  I guess right now I am referring to several posts.  There can be some  people that might see a few fanatics that ARE "classless" people from a town and suddenly they make it seem like all the fans are classless.  It does not take too many people from somewhere to give the

whole place a bad name.  Nothing gets me more upset than for people to run down the coaches or the player---especially as one person mentioned, doing it where the family can not help but hear.  I do not like hearing fans yelling to take a certain player out and put another in.  I don't like hearing people yelling that the coaches can't coach.  That's usually from someone who has never coached anything in their life. 

I know some people think that because they paid there money to get in that they have the right to ruin the game for everyone around them.  Those people are obnoxious!!  There was one dad at a town where I go to see sports events that has been banned by the school district from attending any of the schools athletic events for a year.  Believe me, all the other fans are very happy!  Sorry I'm on my soapbox.  I guess I'm just saying don't judge a place by a few loud mouths (and yes, I'll admit I am guilty of this sometimes.)

I'm sorry if it sounded like I meant all Anahuac fans when I said "classless".  I was referring to just a few. 

I was standing right there when the man was yelling at the coaches wife, it was totally out of line.  I"m glad the cop came when he did because I was just about done watching it.  I was on my way to escort him out myself when the police arrived.

the head coach from our town is a class act , a good man , our whole staff is a bunch of good guys , i feel bad for the heat coaches sometimes put up with , you arent gonna win them all , it isnt always gonna be pretty , fans need to realize that and stay in there place , it was a good game with both teams playing hard , e.c. came out on top tonight , the panthers will rebound ,
