Really questioning why Lake Creek even scheduled this game… the score ended up being about what I thought it would be….

Doesn't Lake Creek have a new, or only second year coach? Maybe he had a hard time getting someone scheduled since he's just kind of starting...

Yes they have a new coach this year. He was previously at Kingwood HS. LC’s old coach retired.

That may be it about being new coach… but Cleveland? Probably one of the worse football programs the last 10 years in the GHA…

It's crazy how Cleveland used to have a decent program 15 years ago. 

 

 

Surprisingly they're 2-1. Granted they beat Spring Woods and Aldine but still an improvement because they couldn't beat either of those teams a few years ago.

 

Even with this android growth going from 3A to 6A, they should be able to grab some more guys out of the hallways

Many of those kids know not nor do they care anything about American football.  It's simply a demographic issue.  Hope the young man tgat do play still enjoy the game as it is an extremely difficult situation thetr in regards to attempting to field a quality squad. God Bless the coaches trying. Very admirable of them.
