NHSBulldogFan Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Not making a prediction but there is alot of grumbling about the coaching staff over the weekend and its not coming from spidersal😄 Quote
bmtbulldog Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago The offensive scheme is real basic and predictable. Larry Neumann's teams were light years more advanced. Delbert Spell's defense was much more aggressive and disciplined. Those days are gone. It's back to the Bulldogs of the 70s and 80s. Quote
Tiger33 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I watched the Nederland and WOS game. Nederland looked the worst I’ve seen. Not saying Silsbee will win because I feel like we have alot to work on. Boogy1000 1 Quote

Reagan Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I know it's not looking good so far. But let's wait until district and see what happens. Holding the WOS running back to 103 yards is not bad. Offense does need some work. Quote

The defense has come along fine...offense well you said it need to get the ball in the hands of Gestring im also impressed with the play of the sophomore Clay i still think we make the playoffs im not ready to write us off just yet Reagan 1 Quote
Gasilla Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago From a long time Mustang perspective. This Nederland team is nowhere close to what I'm used to seeing from the Dogs. Mental errors, poor execution, turnovers, penalties, overall sloppy play? These are NOT characteristics of the Neumann era Dogs. You could always bet they were going to be sound. They weren't gonna beat themselves, turn the ball over, have stupid penalties. You knew they would be disciplined and prepared and you'd have to be the same to get a win. Not that way now from what I see. Quote
spidersal Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Defense was not the problem vs WOS. The DL played pretty good, the LB ‘ers played hard, they are just slow, and the secondary is the same as the past several seasons, extremely poor They must have the worst secondary coaches in southeast Texas The offense is the major problem. The QB threw well from 1-5 yards, but couldn’t throw longer than that. They have not had a good QB in a long time. The last 2 were good athletes, just simply not QB’s. They could have been good receivers or running backs. The receivers look a little better this year. I couldn’t tell if the RB’s are any good because the OL is absolutely horrible. I am not sure they blocked anyone the entire game vs WOS IMO they will be 3-7 if the OL doesn’t improve quickly Quote
old guy 71 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago with Neds 5a Roster size, the fact Tigers are missing Def starters , and this team is still trying to find its rythem on offense, I'm going with Ned by two T D' s. JMO But, I could be wrong Quote
navydawg31 Posted 34 minutes ago Report Posted 34 minutes ago I wonder who will become QB1 now for Big Ned… Does Rich call the plays or does the OC? Something needs to change in a hurry… Quote
