I believe Allen is supposed to be really loaded the next few years.

Let STA pay a visit to Eagle stadium since Allen doesn't do out of state, I don't  believe.

Allen or Carthage 🤷🏾‍♂️

Yall know my original thoughts on it. IMG ruined it for me.

Since Desoto went there and got Donkey Stomped and deserved it. You don’t over there being disrespectful.

gimme Da Sho, as in North Shore

I think North Shore is who you would choose if you had to select a team any given year. I still think STA would win 7/10 but North Shore is coached so well that they would probably have the best shot to mitigate the up and down talent cycles. For as good as our high school teams are it’s tough to compete against squads that can start a 3️ at every position on the field

Personally just don't see the benefit of teams playing all star teams. Particularly out of state all star teams.

It's almost a case of apples and oranges.

I wouldn't send any Texas team to play those guys. Kind of pointless.

I think those games are purely played to suffice the “What state has the best high school football?” argument? Their argument is that out public schools have open enrollment which is like recruiting but apples and oranges is an understatement when it comes to what schools like Mater Dei, STA, St. Frances or Bishop Gorman do.

This is how you beat all star private schools when you're a public, by the way.

Personally I want to see Texas compete for bragging rights to the best football in the country.

Some people are okay with Texas staying in its insular-like little world. That's fine also. It's just a difference of opinions.

Right now we're not even in the top 3 from what I've seen.

National news about the lack of sportsmanship by Desoto & their coaching staff. It’s all over X, and even in my news feed via Outkick.

Way to represent Desoto. 🙄

They put out an apology statement, and didn't even have what the issue was in the letter. That game was on ESPN, so they've  got to save some kind of face.

All that yappin didnt age well..lol

Who exactly is making the big deal out of it? Parents? Kids? I've seen teams forgo the handshake at midfield, but then do it at the REAL coin toss.

To me, it's nothing to get your drawers in this big of a wad. They must be bored over there. 😆

Old schoolers making a deal of it. I'm in my 40s, it didn't bother me.

Obviously, you can’t say much negative about it. If you did, it would be kind of hypocritical.

PAM vs. NS no hand shake game ring a bell?

I guess it depends on if you think it’s just a game, or if you think some life lessons are supposed to be learned from the competition. If the coaches were the father figures for some of the players, would this be a lesson you’d want them to teach?

I guess I’m an old schooler. My kid’s almost your age.
