bullets13 Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM Report Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM This will be a good litmus test as to how much Jasper has improved this year under new leadership. Quote

BBfan061 Posted yesterday at 08:40 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:40 PM I got East Chambers. I think Jasper has gotten a lot of hype based on some coaching hires. Reagan and kirkwood29 1 1 Quote
Fast Turtle Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago I got Jasper in this one. I do think the new coaching staff will have Jasper significantly better and more prepared than last season. Now, I do not think they'll be on the top end of 4AD2 by any means, but I do think they'll beat EC. Jasper should have more all-around size and athletes on the field as they should. EC has a couple guys that can really go, but Jasper should field the average Jasper team this year which is normally a descent, respectable team. Who do I want to win? East Chambers! Quote
Fast Turtle Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago I may stand corrected from my last comment. I did not know EC got a QB transfer from Barbers Hill, athlete from Port Arthur Memorial with D1 offers, and athlete back from Manvel with D1 offers. That's a big deal for a small school like EC. Jasper should have the advantage up front on both sides. Maybe it's a toss up. We'll see Friday. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

I think its' a great test for both programs actually. A) tells us if Jasper is improved and ready to be respected again b) is EC improved and a threat in 3AD1 region III ? WOSdrummer99 Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Jasper will be respectable especially compared to last year. They need more time and experience to get where they belong. EC at home in a close game. Js UP 🧢 Quote
WhyBebe67 Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago EC on this one. Jasper might have size on them, but those Bucs got some fight. EC by at least 2 TDs. Quote

He will be a bigtime standout at EC playing at the 3A level and now being an upperclassman. He was probably just another great athlete at PA Memorial that just blended in. He'll make a difference on both sides of the ball at EC. KF89 1 Quote

Don't agree with the " he will be a stand out at the 3a level" if you can play you can play. Top 3a schools could play with 6a schools. #1 team in 6a has studs that moved in from 3a schools. Waco University stud RB couple years ago came from Mart. Quote

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do here? I never said that good individual 3A players couldn't go to a bigger school and play? I'm from Newton buddy and we have several kids every year that can go play at 90% of 6A teams. I'm not sure why you made that statement. However, the kid coming over from 5AD1 state semifinalist Port Arthur Memorial that holds several D1 offers will be a standout at East Chambers and the 3A level. They won't go win state by any means, but that kid will shine at this level. Top 3A schools could not play with TOP 6A teams, but yes, they can play with some of the worst 6A teams. Quote

He's not coming "over" from PAM, right? Could not be possible. He lives in Winnie ISD, therefore giving him the ability to re-enroll back to EC and play right away without sitting out a year. Unless you know something we do not? Quote

I honestly know nothing about it and do not know much about EC. I've just read in different post the situation of him being "back". I'm not sure how all that eligibility stuff works. Quote
