Hardin Hornets at Corrigan Camden

What are your thoughts on this one?  Corrigan and Hardin met up last year, in Hardin and that final was 27-0 Hornets.

Vegas has the line at HH -28

CC at +28? I’ll take that all day. Despite what some have tried to tell me.. Hardin was a better team last year and didn’t win by 28…

They said Hardin wouldn’t be impacted much by what they graduated… forgive me but I’ll need to see them play a decent team of substance before we say I told you so… (no disrespect to CC)

I missed that thread on here.  Was Hardin expected to just pick up where they left off ?

Being preseason ranked #13 in the state kind of puts those expectations out there.

This time last year nobody was talking about Hardin.

Was the person that said that @Matthew328 - I did read where he predicted Hardin/Newton in Regional Final.  I just haven't read anything on here where anyone debated that.

I thought Stepp predicted Hardin to go 3 rounds in the pre-season last year, or did you mean "posters on this site" ?  I agree if you are referring to this site.  Nobody seemed to know or see what Stepp said was going to happen.  Odd.

He talked about them going 3 rounds later in the season but not preseason.

I was referring to the talk here.

Hardin was not in the top 25 preseason rankings and DCTF had Hardin finishing 3rd in district in their preseason mag.

Like I said, this time last year there was very very little talk. At least here there wasn't.

That probably makes more sense.  I didn't really remember anybody saying anything until the Orangefield win, which that was middle of the season, I believe.

Strongly agree that Hardin will likely not replicate last years season.
