What is really sad is that the rest of the football players will join the basketball players in Onalaska when they start football. I guess Coldspring fans will have to start actually supporting the girls programs. Quote

The whole entire Point Blank area alone will migrate over the lake once Onalaska starts football. As far as Shepherd is concerned they will get more athletes coming in just by being along on the 59/I-69 corridor as the area keeps building up. PlayActionPass 1 Quote

That is not "Coldspring best players" moving to Shepherd. Plenty of former families from Shepherd in Coldspring as well. As far as recent players go, there are more examples of Shepherd players moving to Coldspring. Quote

In my opinion some are and I'm speaking for the parents of kids that I've actually played with if that talent falls on them like their parents have. Now if you're talking generational talent that once and awhile that comes along then I would totally agree with you as none of those former players or their children lives in San Jacinto County anymore with the exception of a few and they don't play sports. A kid growing up and playing sports in Shepherd is typically not considered “Coldspring best players moving to Shepherd” just because the parents are from Coldspring. There is not a school in the state where many parents grew up somewhere else. There are currently no players in Shepherd that were formerly one of “Coldspring best players”. Coldspring does/has had difference makers walking the halls who do not play sports. Quote

I understand that but however I'm talking about the lower levels when I say this. I don't know any of the ones in high school currently especially at the varsity level and on that we agree. Quote

And is was true when I played especially my senior year (Barbay's first year). We had huge guys just walking around that could have helped on the O-Line alone but didn't want to play for various reasons. Quote

Most likely imo it will be the interm play here but since their are keen interests from other coaches in other places we would most likely know by the end of next week or week after before 2 a days start. Unless you think they are interviewing for an interim, I would assume they hire this week. TrojanWarrior08 1 Quote

Don’t they have 3a d1 numbers? Quote
