Gotta change that mindset, sports is only about football. Coldspring’s girls programs have been pretty successful lately.

I believe it is definitely time. I know many in the community have been pushing for it for a while now.

I understand that completly, I was just meaning with growth and the time it's going to take to get to that point, it would only be a guess as to which division they would be in.

They are a ways away from worrying about D1 or D2. From my understanding they are starting with JH and working up to HS. Football will require almost a whole new staff. Don't believe they have many coaches that have coaches football.

20 plus applicants and interviews are Monday and Tuesday. Unless you think they are interviewing for an interim, I would assume they hire this week.

I guess Coldspring fans will have to start actually supporting the girls programs.

I do not disagree with that, there are better options for what they are wanting, unfortunately athletics will not be a part of any passing bond in Coldspring. At least that’s what I’ve been told from community members.

It was roughly 70% against for the second time and that’s with very little athletic improvements in the bond.

I believe the definition of community support depends on who you ask. Can’t pass a bond to improve facilities because the “community” support isn’t enough. RR is the interim just like last time.
