But so many already knew that I am not surprised it was announced before the school board meeting tomorrow night.

I do agree. Toby has his work cut out for him but I think he's up for the task.

I was told he will take a pay cut but will be allowed to bring in some coaches of his choice.

It's my understanding this is the 3rd time he has applied for the Jasper job. Third times the charm.

At least Jasper ISD has some great facilities… that’s half the battle as a AD. 
 

Best of luck to Coach Toby Foreman. I think he will do well there and get Jasper back being competitive again.

I guess I had the wrong impression of him because it seemed like a running joke when he would apply for all of these local jobs and get passed over.

Tell me about him as a person and as a coach.

I don't know if you could consider the facilities great. 

Baseball and softball? Yes. Football? Good but not necessarily great. Certainly no indoor practice facility.

The weight room isn't state of the art and there are way better gyms in our area.

I would consider the facilities as a whole as good to very good. Not great.

Shoemaker had better facilities.

Best thing going for Coach Foreman is he will be in 4A D2 and not 6A. Also, back home (SETX) where he has always wanted to be.

I really believe he will do quite well at Jasper. Much better than Crumedy.

He’s very very good at getting kids recruited and to the next level. He connects well with the athletes and a very hard working like able guy.

Kids play hard for him; good motivator & communicator 

will win there but don’t expect them to get too far
