I was agreeing with!  😎

Lol I didn't see it... I am always thinking you are looking for a fight... So who do you think Jasper should look at for next coach?

Not sure but I think he would be a great fit that is just spit balling options out there... Isn't that what we are supposed to do?

I guess my point being I will be surprised if he applies for the job.

You saying it was going to be between him and Bronson leads me to believe you think he will apply.

First, I always challenge people’s opinions.  But it is never personal!

Second, I have no specific names.  I have certain rules:  Take your time to find the best candidate possible.  Don’t rush.  Nothing is guaranteed.  But you can narrow down by knowing what not to do.  No buddy deals.  And NO home cooking.  Home cooking is based on sentimentality.  Sentimentality is not a substitute for a good resume.  The odds are small that you would find a good one this way.
The gist of this is Take Your Time!!

I agree with you, especially when it comes to homegrown coaching talent. It usually doesn't work and they'll chase more money just like anyone else would.

When has he not applied when it comes to the 409? I assume he will and think it is between him and Malcolm Bronson but I don't know anything just speculation

Pretty sure he didn't apply for PN-G and Nederland jobs here recently. Also didn't apply for the last two Beaumont jobs when they were open.

I think Toby has now pretty much has decided there is only one job here locally that he would leave Shoemaker for.

Think he applied there once before. Here too and we know how they both turned out. Now that the world has seen the results of the most talked about coaching hire SETXsports history. Maybe a former coordinator of a big rival would work for Jasper.

Shoemaker was a 4th place finisher in 6A but just dropped to 5Ad1 in a tough district with the College Station and Pflugerville teams. I've also seen some prospect rankings that included some of his players. Not sure if he'd be interested at this point.

Maybe so. I just don't recall him applying for the Beaumont jobs these last two openings.

He may have applied for Nederland job.

I believe the door is shut on him ever going back to BISD…  just my opinion on it.

Tbh I wonder why Jasper doesn’t up the pay AD/HFC and pull a bigger name coach maybe about to retire in 5-7 years seems like it could be a great place to finish out career and retire at the lake…
