Boogy1000 Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 How will Silsbee look next season on offense and defense? Quote
HarryDoyle Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 I heard they were interested in playing Carthage week 4 so they must be expecting to have a solid group. Quote

Boogy1000 Posted Wednesday at 05:18 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 05:18 PM Someone mentioned that Silsbee had very solid QB on JV last year who should move up varsity. Quote

He will be the key to Silsbee's success. All the other pieces are in place for a very good season. I am told the coaches have a lot of confidence in him and he will be ready. Boogy1000 1 Quote

WOS will be a favorite against them, and if HF can find some linemen they're going to have the skill players to give them a tough game as well. fatthead 1 Quote
Boogy1000 Posted Wednesday at 05:59 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 05:59 PM I think 7 on 7 and the off season should have him ready Quote

Different QB, young aggressive RB core group back with a stable line could produce better numbers than this past year, though it was still a solid offense. My opinion is defense will be a bigger challenge. Lots of key personnel leaving and need the secondary to make an even bigger leap than they did late in season. Aggressive pass rush helped Silsbee this year. We will see if the ball control defense can make all those tackles at key times. Big plays have to be stopped better. JMO, but I am looking bullish on Tigers season! #TigerNation Quote

I watched some video on him. While he was on JV he was pretty accurate Qb. He transferred in from Lumberton. Quote
