Understood. I think LaVega, Cuero, Silsbee, Sealy, or Sinton could all beat any of those teams you mentioned.

And it's not just carthage look what the only team from this area kilgore did to teams from that area starters didn't give up a single point  and blew everyone out it's not that way for all classifications but 4a the south is just way behind the rest of state most years

The SETX 4AD1 district contains 3 schools who "opt up" specifically to avoid the 4AD2 schools in SETX. 9-4AD2 is one of the tougher districts in the state. I suspect that WOS has a better historical pedigree than any school you have named other than Carthage (perhaps Gilmer).

Maybe historically yes last 5 years r so not so much i mean if wos just got lucky and made it to state i get it that happens sometimes but if they were the cream of the crop for region 3 and 4 then thats not a good look for those areas

You know what else does not look good? Typing without the use of punctuation.

Additionally, the majority, if not all, teams have a bit of luck on their side when they advance all the way to state.  From staying healthy most of the season, having a call or two in their favor, winning the TO margin, etc.

I see nothing’s changed with yall! Carthage has Blown out every team they’ve played in the state championship for at least the last 8 they’ve played in. If you know who were still coaching WOS and had gotten the same results, Luck , Voodoo, Magic, Rabbit feet, Lucky Charm…none of those things would have been mentioned for a reason why WOS made it to state and every excuse imaginable would have been found to explain them losing! Yall are all cowards, among other things , why not say it with your FULL CHEST, I Hate the current coach and the staff at WOS and will never give them credit for anything, you’d get a lot more respect. BTW every other loss that WOS has had in the State Championship game has been by double digits, with at least one coming AFTER BLOWING an 18 point halftime lead, now that was some GREAT COACHING in that game!
