i think the sentiment here is, you can slip up on carthage once, but if you play them again in the same season, you may be in for a rude awakening?

Athens is a good team, but that first game against Carthage had more to do with Carthage than it did Athens. Athens was pretty fortunate to win each of its 3 playoff games to make it this far to begin with.

Officials not taking control of this game.  Head coach for DeSoto should have already been ejected probably.

Such a strange, completely unhinged vibe from that sideline and team.

Willis coach dropped the ball by putting Bishop out on an island covering this receiver. Should have been playing in the middle and stopping this run game

Crazy how far and away Bishop is the best athlete on the field even going up against DeSoto who has a lot of great athletes.
