pakronos Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I hate playing the same team twice. i think it will be a closer game this time around. Barrier seems to be a different qb and the defense is playing better. However, PAM defense is playing at a higher level than the first meeting if there is a such thing lol. I just would like a backup plan if Alex is getting dropped for losses and we keep sending him up the gut. Otherwise i got PAM 38-21 Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago @AggiesAreWe add the poll please. And I agree with Pakronos. Go Titans! Quote
Eagle82 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I agree, neither team is the same as they were mid-season, nor should they be. 9-5A just proved to the rest of the region and to the state, that 9-5a can ball, too! PAM is gonna be tough, tough, tough. Can BH beat them, ABSOLUTELY, but if Morton isn’t back, it’s gonna be a lot more difficult! A LOT more difficult! PAM is definitely an elite team in 5-A D1, they have proven that all year long. BH, although I wouldn’t classify as elite, is very, very good…hard-nosed sort of good! They have developed into that “you get punched, you punch back harder!” sort of really good team! Reminds me of the ol K-State teams under Snyder! Maybe BH gets knocked back to reality on Saturday, and if so, BH can hold their head high, that’s for sure…what I do know though, is BH isn’t gonna just lay down because it’s PAM. We basically had “no chance” going into the Weiss game, and BH overcame adversity multiple times to a very good ballclub, too! Go get ‘em BH! BHFAN and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
BHFAN Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago 1st yes please add a poll and Hill to Barbers in the subject 😁2nd I agree with the above, this isn’t going to be the game we saw earlier in the year. BH just got beat by Sterling LOL and was definitely in a funk of some sorts during that time. PAM has been solid throughout I can only hope that we have caught up enough now to play them better. Both teams know each other and have had mainly close games over the years. The only Garuntee is District 9 will win Region 3. pakronos 1 Quote
gary-us-bonds Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago PAM 41 to 13. Weiss was not any good. Honestly not sure how LaPorte bungled that one away. Quote
Austin1985 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago The year was 1983 Austin played Hampshire Fannett in a non district game. The score was 33-11(I was responsible for giving up a late TD) We finished as the runner up and H-F won their district Rematch, SFA 39 H-F 3 Based on that comedy I saw saturday plus the Cove QB seemed a little fazed after that hit he took in OT before the field goal, I love PA's chances to move on to the Semis....... Weiss hadn't had a game like that since their CStat game. They had been playing basically mistake free. Averages and youth caught up to them. BH wasn't any better TBH. But, they did enough to win--probably--the sloppiest game I've seen this year. Kudos to the Eagles! The answer to the La Porte game is easy. Two late TO's & no adjustments by the staff. Basically, they poached the goat, and gave the game away. Rematches are tough. See 2011. But, looks like the stars are lining up perfectly for PAM this year. I'm not gonna' root against either team. I just hope it's a better game than last night. That was hard to watch. Quote

oldman Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago PAM is extremely talented and good. They deserve all the recognition they are getting. You have to give BH credit, they have righted their ship and have been playing very well these past 4-5 weeks. Comical game or not, they overcame a 14 pt deficit and a 10 pt deficit. This game should be sold out. Finally a game in the Beaumont area where fans from both schools and the Golden Triangle can attend. Quote

That's a long way to travel for a non-district game. New Hampshire ? Couldn't find anything closer? Quote
kirkwood29 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I too believe BH will play PAM a little closer this go around. Quote
LufkinPack Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Congrats to both teams. Way to represent our district and prove that it was legit. Turns out, Lufkin lost to some pretty darn good football teams this year. I can accept that. I don’t have a dog in the fight I just want to see a good/safe football game! I will give the edge to PAM for various reasons. BH is obviously very capable and nothing would surprise me at this point. Again, congrats to both programs and fan bases. Quote
navydawg31 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago It’s all about PA in this one, Titans 14+ Quote
