ndn2016 Posted Sunday at 02:42 PM Report Posted Sunday at 02:42 PM Hope it goes like the Dayton game, good to see second team getting some reps and developing their skills, never know when someone is going to have to step up. It also preserves the starters. I'm impressed with #18 he looks like another option in running situations and his throws have looked good. I've said it before, but deep runs mean so much for sustaining a winning tradition. I'll just use #2 as an example, he already has around 25 games at the varsity level and he may not even have his Texas DL yet. It's also great fun to see the Seniors who don't play much get to go have some fun. I appreciate Coach Joseph letting them play. They paid a great price in commitment by enduring long hours and tough workouts to be out there. I also gotta give some props to the Band, etc for their part. Lastly, thanks to the coaches and their families who make many sacrifices during this season so we can enjoy this time. HIgh School football in Texas is the best deal in sports. And High school football in our area is special. PNG fans be thankful, grateful and humble. 1970, TurboMan and NDNWarrior 3 Quote
Bordertown Posted Sunday at 07:52 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:52 PM Should be no problem for PNG. Texas High dominated them last Friday 50-0 (36-0 at half) and held them to 72 yards offense. They supposedly have a very good WR. Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted Sunday at 08:00 PM Report Posted Sunday at 08:00 PM Indians starters will be out before halftime.. Quote

png9mon Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Friend said when in trouble Nacogdoches QB will quick release a deep arch pass & just lets his WR run under it. If he beats us deep that may be the Dragons best play. Pass defense needs to step up if we cannot get to QB before he releases the ball. Need to get the QB to moving in the pocket so that Indian Defense can take him down, or disrupt his rhythm. Our Indian Coaches will have us ready for Friday. Time To See An Indian Slay A Dragon!!! PackAttack Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Lufkin won 42-14 @ Nacogdoches 2nd game of the year in non-district, then the Dragons went on to be 6-1 before they were beat in district. They are a young team that has some raw talent. No match at all for PNG in the first round, then again it's the first time NAC has made the playoffs since 2021 and they were picked in pre-season to finish 6th in a very tough district. So there are two positives for their program before this game is even played. Baby step for them trying to build something. Darth Texas 1 Quote

Darth Texas Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Biggest weakness for Nac on offense seems to be their o-line. Absolutely no resistance to Texas High’s attack last week. Quote
