Good news is the DFW area gained a lot of 5AD2. So the split for them to R1 &R2 looks to have plenty of teams without having to reach down into Houston/BMT areas at all.

Because they are in a district with inner city Houston and can make the playoffs vs in a district with our area and likely struggle,

Opting up makes these projections a nightmare. 5A-DI had 118 schools in the cutoff range, plus 9 possible opt ups on my spreadsheet. That gave me the number they put out, 127. Now that I'm hearing Galena Park is opting up that would make 10 and throw my numbers off.....annoying.
