PNG @ Splendora

I can’t see PNG losing this one, but might as well discuss.

Hoping a lot of the starters get to rest. PNG came out banged up against Huntsville. And, a good chance to cultivate depth in the twos and threes.

Per JJ's post-game interview he was planning to begin getting ready for the Splendora game yesterday (Sunday).  The starters will start I'm sure unless they're injured. The second half will probably be similar to the second half of the MLC game. That doesn't mean that the coaches will relax. "They all wear the same uniform", says coach JJ. If a second or 3rd or 4th team player screws up, then they will get a talking to.

53 points? dang. Coach Joseph does not like to run up the score. I have seen him have the 2nd string in in quarter 2.

Yes, Splendora has had a lot of growth in the last 5 years.  Don’t think they will see 4A again.

Smells like a running clock situation.  

 

A side note:  that whole great Cleveland area will never be great at sports in the foreseeable future

I wouldn’t be surprised by a 28-0 first quarter, with 2nd string taking over the rest of the game. End up with a quiet 42-7 or something like that. Splendora seems to be even worse than last year. I hope Tyson Henry and some of the other banged up guys don’t even see the field. I might go watch Nederland this week, tbh.
