baddog Posted 17 hours ago Author Report Posted 17 hours ago For me, baseball is all about that top of the 8th tonight. Bases loaded with one out, get a strikeout and a ground out to get out of it with a 1 run lead. That’s exciting. Astros win 2-0, second straight shutout of the Phiilies. Peńa gets my vote for player of the game. rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago Fantastic 2-0 shutout Hder 21 Saves 5 1/2 up 14 over 500. Carritini Dinger Well said Baddog AAW this time Mariners did lose lol baddog 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Hader ties an Astro record with 21 consecutive saves to start the season. Ties Dave Smith's record. Houston is currently top 3 in AL in both hitting and pitching. No other American League team is top 3 in both categories. Astros currently have the 2nd best record (47-33) in AL (Tigers have best record at 50-31) and 3rd best record in all of baseball. Keeping that 2nd best record will allow Houston to not play in Wild Card round and have homefield for Divisional round. baddog 1 Quote
baddog Posted 1 hour ago Author Report Posted 1 hour ago Astros going for the sweep of the Phillies right now with Brown on the mound. Starts off the game with a K. Quote
